HAHA...well now you know for the next time anyway....a lot of people on here use it....so apparently you know how cheap it is....I cut 9x10 pieces ..place it in the tray...and toss it as often as I want.....In a year I am only on my second $5 bag

thats not funny, but i'll get over it

I have the same stuff that im trying to get rid of too.
at this point i am taking a rock about every three days out and brushing it with a F/T/O brush in new saltwater.
and putting it back in the tank but it comes back very fast so i am also brushing that rock in the tank every day
and still doing the W/C and filter pad

on IMO it must be to long at this point for the fish or the cuc to do much good IMO
however the rock that i take to clean thay jump all over as soon as i put it back in that tank

I used to have a problem with that kind of algae, I picked up a Sea Hare and he had it all cleaned up within a week! The trick after that is keeping him alive :p I've gotten mine to eat by rubberbanding some freezedried seaweed to a small piece of rock and sinking it to the bottom. The Sea Hare is like a lawnmower!

that would be good if it would make it on it's own, but it may come to that
i am trying to just work at the algae with the W/C and a brush
i will get there some day

Have you increased the cuc? are you still doing the frequent water changes?

Have you tried chemi-pure elite? Do you have current test results (phosphates)?
