Anemone or coral? Whatever it is, its split.

Saltwaterfish.com has a forum? I was not aware! Looks like I found a new home!
Anyway, had this dude for quite a while now. I cant remember when I purchased it if its a coral or anemone. The LFS I believe said it was a coral, and it does react to light, and even if the lights go off for just a few minutes it shrivels right up. However the central mouth and the tentacles throw me off, on top of that there is a small "foot" with about 10 tentacles on it. Okay, so it didn't split, but it did do whatever it does to reproduce. Any Ideas?
Also, sometimes when the lights go off the little balls (tentacles) will shrivel up. Never moves or anything...

The reproduction method you have witnessed is called "Pedal Laceration", a type of asexual reproduction.
I used to have a large colony of them

Lighting, water flow pattern, food availability, all kinds of reasons why Anemone go walkabout.
