I got an email today saying that my tank broke in transit and they were shipping it back to marine depot!

i cant wait 5 more days!
I got my lights and stand though!

just think how nice it is that they dont bring it to your house,,, you unwrapp it to check it and THEN find it broken,, thats worse i think.....Ill will be nice when it finnally get there all safe and sound...

yea I guess LOL. The good people at marine depot are upgrading me to 3 daybshipping and also letting me return my opened r2 lights for free and paying the difference for another powerbrite unit.
My stand was also slightly damaged. I guess we'll see what they do about that but they have done right by me so far
I guess I'll get some pics of the powerbrites up even though it's just 4 LED lights LOL

lol didnt I tell you that the r2 were nothing compared to the powerbrites

i dont remember but probably lol. my dad called them to see which were brighter and the person said the r2s so he insisted on getting them lol

powerbrites are so underrated for what they can do. I still have to get mine

Yea I'm definitely getting 2 for my tank. Have you ever heard of stunner leds?

yes, thats one of my other choices. still seeing what to do. I might build a custom hood to house everything i want.

Do you know what the stunner and powerbrote differences are?

you will have to buy a sperate plug for the ecoxotic stunner strip. the powerbrites have four highly concenrated led's. I'm looking for some pics with people using the stunner strip because i dont know how powerful they are

I don't think that I will have anywhere to put them in my hood actually unless they were super thin. I'll put some pics up of how I mounted the powerbrites in my tank and the coverage from 1 that I get.

the stunner strips are way thinner than the powerbrite

I mean not length or width, from top to bottom is it a lot thinner? How long are they also ?

I asked a guy thats an expert with leds and he said the stunners are weaker than the powerbrites, but much thinner all around. ecoxotic also has the panorama led strip which are almost the same size as powerbrites but much stronger
