You sure the guy was really trying to hit the thing? He may have been trying to avoid it and the kitten changed directions. You notice brake lights or anything?

i did not see it but jenny did i just heard the screams when it got hit, there was no obvious braking...tobin

Tobin and Jenny, you guys are awesome for what you've done here. That must have been really difficult to witness. You did all that was possible which was making her as comfortable as possible and showing her love in her final moments.
