I'll take one tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for the compliments. I'm amazed that not only does the stand look better (obviously) but my tank looks better, like a piece of art now.
I can't wait to see how it looks once the canopy is done and my new lights are up and running.

The outside wood is cherry. Canopy has not been started yet, but I will get pics as soon as I have something to take a picture of.

Well, he's still alive and doing well on all accounts, except he flashes from time to time. He has no spots, eats fine, not really sure why he's flashing.
He's been in QT for three weeks, I'm going to keep him there for another week just in case. Maybe he's getting the QT itch.

OK, I couldn't help myself.
I was at the lfs and this is what I brought home (Blue Hippo Tang, Open Brain, Fuzzy Mushroom). Little Blue is poking her nose out of the cave.

My Royal Gramma is now in the DT and he's found himself a really good hiding place, a little hole in one of the rocks. I really don't think any of the other fish even knows he's there. I'm sure it will be some time before he decides to come out.

Don't give me a hard time about her name. I have two little girls, ages 8 and 4, so what else was she going to be named.
Anyway, Dori is doing great swimming around and even eating some algea sheet I put in. Here is a better picture of her.

Why do you have coral in your QT? I thought that it wasn't necessary to qt coral...
Your tank is comming along very well. I just posted some updated photos of my 55 gal today.
Talk to you later,
Brian

I'm really not QT the corals, just letting them sit for a day before I put them in the DT. I saw some ugly spiders I didn't want in my DT, so thought I would see if anything else would crawl off before I stick them in. They are going in later today.
I'll go check out the updates to your tank.

Yes, I was waiting for almost five months now when I first started up the tank. She's really doing well eating algea sheets and eating pellets earlier today. I'll try some flake later tonight to see how that goes, but so far she's looking good, swimming around enjoying her new home. She already has some personality on her and it's fun to watch.
Here is a picture of my Royal Gramma, he's enjoying the life in the big tank now, swimming around, making new friends and finding new hide outs. He adds a nice splash of color to my tank.

Nice tank and fish. I hope I'll get 125g tank up and running soon. I hope I will do fine when I start my tank into simple reef tank.
Good Luck
Jay
