Alright guys..calm down. However, I must give applause to Zman1. Very, VERY, good job. Saltwater8, are you muchoreef? I believe that Saltwater8 should be disqualified, and that the prize should be given to the person who really won this contest. Steve Weast. People are saying "Oh, he doesn't need the frag." No one NEEDS the frag. Steve is purely a hobbyist, and nothing more, IMO. Steve deserves the frag.

So funny reading all his rants about how pathetic and sad we are for questioning wether that was his tank!

I told him to stop getting defensive, and if it was his tank he should let it speak for itself...well i guess that's why he kept running his mouth!!!!
All I can say is PATHETIC....and I would like to retract my vote...the only reason why I voted for saltwater8 is because steve west's tank is in a league of its own! All this for a coral frag!!

zman, good work! I knew that I have seen that tank before and that it wasn't Saltwater8's. He was just asking me about medicating his tank a month or so ago.
On a more positive note, the tanks on this thread were amazing. I would love to see these threads continue in the future.

Man thats pretty bad....well I have to admit he gets an "A" for effort....lol...I guess money must really be tight if lying for a frag and arguing this much with everyone here is what he will do....

Chill, Emmett, you're a little too excited. As a matter of fact, I thought about clicking the triangle and having this post closed since the contest ended yesterday. I thought I'd let it go on a little before doing that just so Saltwater8 can see that deception is not socially acceptable. If that is truly a picture in his avatar of him and is a senior picture, then he's 18 and is a young adult and should already know this.

Normally, i wouldn't make such a big deal but calling us sad, pathetic, socially incapable, etc. was more than a little ridiculous. That doesn't even count basically threatening to beat up anyone who said it wasn't his... Not to mention the whole point of telling that ridiculous lie to win a frag.
He deserves what he is getting and then some
p.s.- i dont think that is a senior picture, i know things have gotten way casual but have never heard of doing senior pics in a t-shirt :notsure: He's at least in college i'll bet.

Wow, the posts today are like reading a play written by a bunch of first graders….
First of all lets see who’s still laughing on the board after the moderator comes back and gives us a list of names and bans everyone who has multiple screen names just to start trouble….
As already mentioned, the contest criteria was for the best tank, no where was it stated that the tank had to be yours and I NEVER stated the tank was. Anyone who says I did, is not telling the truth – kind of like one week vs. two…
But as almost everyone can see, there are pathetic little people who have nothing better to do that make trouble – what sad lives you must really have. Sad that you have to make multiple screen names, then make posts and then change your screen names to answer your own posts…
What’s even more astounding is that after today’s posts, I have received 2 more votes… I guess maturity counts for something…
Enough said…

Excuse me for not checking my own profile for the exact date I joined.
I just finished a trade with RickD and he recieved the coral frags I sent him in good health.
He also sent me some frags today.

What mature person will impersonate and deceive like you did?? You say that you never said it was your tank so what in the world were you getting so defensive about before you got caught??

since page 2 of this thread, i kept wanting to comment on what a chotch saltwater8 was being ... even if it was his tank. i mean, look at his picture (or is that even him in the picture?). but i kept thinking, 'no, don't burn bridges. you may want to trade something with him some day'.
he actually listed the colors in "his" tank, INCLUDING lime green, mint green, emerald green, and light green. not to mention blue and aqua; and also rose, peach, pink, and red. well, we all change our minds -- you've convinced us. yours has better colors. :hilarious

i think i can forgive all those who were nagging about ownership of the tank now. i thought you were being immature; and maybe you could have been more mature about it. but i think it was worth it to bring public humiliation to a guy who was trying to steal a frag in a fun contest by lying.
zanski, you've been very reserved this whole time, giving him the benefit of the doubt. what do you think about this guy now?
