I could understand if she decided not to vote or vote for Bob Barr but voting for McCain demostrates that she's nothing more then a mad Clintonista. Then again, what would be better for hillary then for McCain to get elected...
My family is full of "real Democrats" and I know only one who will vote for Obama, but then again she has never been too smart
Their main objection is his over the top support for abortion. I still don't get how you can claim to be pro life and remain a Democrat but oh well

She isn't flipping her vote. out of all the candidates, hilary was her choice. Obama got the nod, her next choice was McCain...because Obama has no experience and keeps changing positions. The only way she was going to end up voting for Obama is if Hilary was his running mate as she felt hilary could guide the ship so to speak.
She does not like Biden because he said Obama wasn't qualified then goes ahead and runs with him.....Shows a lack of meaning your words to her.
She isn't a huge fan of McCain...she may not even vote, but she has expressed if she does, at this point it is for McCain. She is waiting for the debates though.
She caught part of the interview at the church, she kept asking me if Obama was saying yes or no to the questions, because his answers weren't clear stances. LOL.
I am actually looking forwARD TO THE DEBATES. sINCE THE CHURCH DEBATE, oBAMA HAS FELL BEHIND 5 POINTS. Please more debates with no telepromters......true colors come out then.
This is a common theme for Hillary supporters... Hillary is not some seasoned Senator with tons of experience ... people often equate her First Lady experience w/ political Foreign relations or policy experience.. But the problem I have with these voters is that her and Obama's policies are very close whereas McCain when compared to McCain's the is 180 degrees of difference... In no way should a Hillary supporter be for McCain based on policy, its just sour grapes... and they are not looking at the big picture.
As far the forum.... don't you think it was a little unfair that McCain got prepped on the questions before his turn... seeing as how he knew the questions by cheating and watching... His answers also showed his lack of depth... Obama didn't stumble but gave clear "thoughtful" responses... Telepromter or not... Obama is a much better conversationalist and speaker than McCain.
How could Hillary guide the ship when she couldn't even guide her campaign... Hillary had every advantage, but lost it because of poor management.

Actually for my wife it is his affiliation with Ayers and the past pastor thing that is doing it for her. Shows a huge contradiction to what he is saying and what he has affiliated himself with.

Where did you get that information, Andrea Mitchell & NBC News? Not exactly unbiased reporting there. If you want real factual news, you're not gonna get it from NBC.

I agree, hillary doesn't have all that much more experience than obama.
But just so you know, they prepped both candidates, Obama actually learned one more more question than McCain. The one about helping subsidize adoptions. (according to the church)
And if you really believe the "thoughtful" or "nuanced" line.
I never knew stuttering stammering and fumbling was thoughful and nuanced if that was the case I should have made an A in speech class.
And if that is the case, I'll just say Bush is toying with the english language because he is intellectually bored and has nothing else better to do.

Speaking of sour grapes.... accusing Saddleback of "cheating" because your candidate bombed is the epitome of such.

Its been reported that McCain had the answers and watched before he went on stage... He was asked by Warren if this was true... McCain denied... Warren said he'd take him for his word...

I am not accusing him of anything... other people have said he had done this...
Second, Obama didn't bomb... all the analysts said he did a good job, as well as Warren.. They say both showed well..not much negative could be said about either...
Only real "gaffe" was McCain saying you are not rich unless you make $5 million a year.

I don't think Obama Bombs I just think McCain did much much better, you don't think obama's "above my pay grade" sidestep was pretty rediculous, he is running for president, that is in the presidential pay grade.
When I hear the $5 million number, I personally especially taken in context with the rest of the answer, wasn't to be taken as the actual number he felt as a "rich person."

Not at all... the prep was Warren telling him the sort of topics he would question them on... he made a big deal out of the fact that he didn't want to give them the wording or exact content of the questions he was going to ask... Basically just said I will ask you about abortion, faith, evil, etc...

"That's above my pay grade" was a pretty good gaffe and I have not heard a single credible analyst who didn't say that McCain was the clear winner.

To which warren said that he gave the EXACT question about a commitment to ease adoption because it was a committment and didn't want to put them on the spot, he gave it to Obama but not McCain since the goofball was late to show up.

What he was saying is that basically no one agrees... even in scientific community... and that an answer on the subject is essentially an opinion. I don't think its the President's role to decide when life begins or the soul... or however you want to look at it...
The remarks about McCain have been he is shallow based on his answers... they say unless its the Iraq war... he has very little depth when it comes to these topics

See I see it as someone who is willing to say what he believes vs someone who doesn't know what he believes. Regardless of the answer.
Unless you're reading a moveon.org type website, I haven't seen much to support your opinion. Regarding the what "they" say.
