I have a feeling the days when we had a cival debate and discussion are now over. I have seen these threads deteriorate dramatically over the past few months to nothing but personal attacks, insults, and silly name calling or acronames.

You're absolutely right. That's what is important about the vote this November. It's your chance to voice your opinion against this war if you so choose. Sorry, but the polls say the majority of Americans are tired of this war. And it's not just the Democrats saying it. What's sad is there's so much fighting going on within the Democratic Party, McCain can just sit back and wait for the fallout. And if McCain does get elected, it's the fallout you're going to have to watch out for, as in nuclear fallout. That war zealot will have no qualms about 'pushing the button' if he gets provoked.

You wanna see nuclear fallout vote democratic . Wait for us to pull out of the middle east and take the presure off the terrorists . Give them a chance to regroup and see what attacks are made on american soil. Your big bank accounts and jobs wont matter when terrorists execute suicide bombings that bring buildings crashing to the ground around you . Keep in mind it was a democratic party (a CLINTON) that was incharge when the masterminds of the sept 11 attacks came on the radar. Clintons administration was informed of the terrorist threats possed by bin laden but he was to busy playing the SAXAPHONE and chasing teenage girls to deal with that issue . Put another CLINTON in the white house it worked so good the first time . Better yet put obama in there we could use a president with ties to radical black fundamentalists . A president that attends a church that preachs hate for the white man and the american way of life . What is it with the pro war fanatics who think that if we pull out of Iraq, we're going to have some mass invasion of terrorists? You honestly think a Republican president can keep that from happening? You think just because our soldiers are being used as target practice on a daily basis over there, that'll pacify the terrorists enough so they won't attack us again on our own soil? If you think that, you've been hanging around with Tattoo on Fantasy Island for too long. I'll clue you in - TERRORISTS ARE ALREADY HERE. It's not if they'll cause another 9/11, it's only a matter of when it will happen. They just caught three Afghans in Europe with official Mexican Passports and documentation. Not fakes, but actual legal documentation. You don't think they were trying them over there, so they can make sure they pass before coming into the US with them? The only reason they got caught was because the Customs agent realized they couldn't speak Spanish. For the right money, coyotes will bring them across the river in droves. Another attack is inevitable. The Republicans are just hoping Hillary or Obama are in office at the time so they can say "I told you the Democrats can't protect this country".

Must you be so nasty at every given chance? I am not just talking about this thread. You have displayed it from the time that you signed up on these boards. It is completely uncalled for. On this thread, I would think that someone who has served this country would not be so condescending toward others that are serving, or are about to.
