Well swf.com happens to have excellent livestock, and corals...I have no LFS so I have to buy all my fish and corals online...I have NEVER been disappointed from a shipment received from here.

Have you ever seen any stress on the fish? Do they usually eat within the first few days?
No, the fish have been fine, and ate normally....I had a few transit losses (to be expected) but SWF credited me w/o any problems

How does that work? Do you have to show them a picture or what?
They have a form, and you attach the picture to it...I have had a case that I could not get a could pic though, and they were fine with that
you can't beat their customer service either

That is good to know. I was just looking through their fish and I found a neat stingray but I don't know enough about stingrays to go and buy one. The website just has it written as a "Stingray-Yellow". I assume it is a yellow spotted sting ray. the website says that they are easy to take care of, but I heard that it is always hard for them to eat. Does anyone have one of these or heard stories? How do you get them to eat? Is it hard to get them to eat? What is their adult size?

I have a cortez ray in my 225g...You have a 125 according to your profile....that is way too small for any type of stingray.

Yeah that is true. I just found that they can get 14 inches in diameter. Do you have any pictures of yours? Was it hard for it to feed?

I use several on line sources for 90% of my aquatic life, to get one of a kind and unique stuff, and the customer service and packaging is AAA+ every thing arrives is tip-top shape. We have a *****
which I use only for my poodle (their marine life is very shady and their product and supplies are very shady) Just say no to any *****, then we have 2 mom & pops LFS one is ranking right up their with ***** and the other is a top class and very knowledgeable, trust worthy establishment.

i love ordering from SWF.com, everything i've received has been in awsome shape. Its really the only site I order from now. Only had one thing not make it and they credited me no problem. If you want a specimen they don't have in stock they get it in a couple days. The only thing i can comment on is sometimes my fish have been bigger then stated in the description of the specimen on the site. No big deal really.

Well thats good that their is a reliable source to buy fish online. I like it one because it is convenient, and secondly they are a lot cheaper than getting them at a LFS. I might be purchasing one soon!

In MY experience... stay away from the site that claims to have SOLUTIONS for your PETS. I have placed two orders with them. Make that 2 LARGE orders from them.
Most of the fish were in poor shape when they arrived.
Most of them DIED within a few days.
The Fish and Corals were ALWAYS smaller than posted. Customer service claims that they reserve the right to substitute UP or DOWN, but for me it has ALWAYS been DOWN. My point was FINE if you substitute but then you should issues a credit for the difference of the shipped one. They said that wasn't their policy.
Call that a solution.. cause I don't?

I've ordered from swf.com and the 2 docs.
Happy with both... really like the wysiwyg from the 2 docs though.

SWF has a very fair policy on livestock.
The two docs refund any deaths no questions asked other than sorry for your loss which I thought was amazing.
I won't buy fish from any online place other than these two.
