can't mount coralife 72' light realllly need help

Okay, I figured out the light part, now I am having problems with legs for the light.
I bought a used 72 inch Coralife 3x150W HQI Lamp + 4x96W CF Lamps Sq. Pin. The legs that were sent with the light do not work. I went to LFS and they only have legs that go on the side track. I am hoping someone has this light and what they did for legs. I only have some tracks under the light so I can't use anything that I have found. I went to Coralife with no luck and a search online. All pf the legs mount on the side. The light is almost as wide as my tank so setting in on the tank is no an option. Here's hoping someone has this light.

Maybe you can hang it....if it didn't come with the hanging kit, you should be able to get one easily.

I don't have the 72' but I did have a coralife light. Why can't you use the side mount legs? My coralife had a grove in the side where the legs could be attached. It looks like just part of the light and how it is shaped, about an inch up.
So look close and tell me what you see, or feel. It is just a grove that is the length of the whole light, an inch up and about a 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide.
If you need a picture I can take one to show you.

Hanging the light is my last option. I really can't believe I can't find legs for this light. Coralife doesn't have much for any help.

Those legs mount into a side track..I saw those at the store. Sorry to say they won't work. They are nice since they let you lift the light.

These are 2 different types...are these also the same as in the store?

A picture would be great. here is what I have. It is a groove, not really a track. It is smooth on the top of it, nothing to hold onto.

I bought the larger picture and they are side mount. Unless I am realllly stupid, it isn't a true track on the side. It is a groove but like I said the top of the groove is rounded.

Here are the pics of what came with the light. There is a small screw that doesn't touch anything and only a one sided groove. The package was unopened so I am not even sure they are for this light. I bought a set and we opened the other box and he said neither would work. There is a track underneath like my other light has for legs. It seems like that is where they would go. they just won't stay because of the one sided lip on the leg.

I had a light that you slid the foot into the track and then when you tightened the screw...that's when it held...

I tightened the screw all the way and it doesn't even touch the light. I was going to put a bigger screw in it, but my hubby said I should wait and see what else I could do. I did try to but that is metal so I would have had to drill a pilot. Didn't really want to go screwing into it. I am feeling pretty stupid about now. Just can't figue this out

Well I don't know then...sorry...like I said before you should just slide the foot in the slot to the end and the screw secures it in place...
