Do you have a litter box in with them? I got my kittens at 6 weeks old. I used a Chinese food container (not the cardboard box type, the plastic bottom piece of a meal container) as the litter box in a crate. They used it from day one. I had them in the crate when I wasn't home.
Yes, finally about a week ago, I rigged up a litter box. They are half using that, and half still crapping inside of my hunting boots.....

So I guess this makes them "half litter box" trained.

LOL I would if the two that I have weren't devil kitties! I love animals, but cat's can really try your patience. One is Kane, she knows herself as "Kane NO!!!" the other is Cali. She is good but meows often, mostly when everyone is sleeping lately. They get into a mood every night where they chase each other around the house. My Jack Russel always gets involved in the chasing of the kitties. It results in me having to check plugs on my tanks because they always manage to knock something loose, being that behind the four tanks are the best places to hide. Kane has a bell on her collar so I know where she is. She is the instigator of all bad activities. Then they cuddle up together like good kitties again. They are still young and have that evil streak in them.
I think Kane needs a new freind....
Her name will be ABLE. Tell me where to ship her butt to.....

EEKS, inside your hunting boots?? Do they go all the way down in it, or perch on the edge? LOL sorry, it's a lil funny being that it isn't my boots. You must understand the humor. I am thinking of a tiny kitten pooing over the edge into a great big hunting boot
I kept the kittens in the crate whenever I wasn't home to watch them. They always went in the little box that I set up for them, never outside of it. As long as it was clean, that is where they liked to go. The first day Kane checked it out and did a little deed in there. Still to this day, guess who has to dirty it the second the new litter is in there?
I thought Kane was a boy when we got her. You know how they have that little nub that sticks out? I never checked again. We still call her "he". He was named after Kane the wrestler. My son named him. I named Cali. I have had to edit my posts several times because in the house we still say he for Kane. Yet "he" goes into heat. I want to have these kitties go outside but I have to get them fixed first. They are not going out until that is taken care of.
Anyway, Kane does NOT need a new friend LOL.

I don't think it's fair for the other readers that a few of your kitties are already *promised*. I'll give everybody a fair chance on getting them so my name is off the list

Now Scotts, you just KNOW you will have more in stock soon

Well Sep I have to admit that may be true, the problem is that I cannot guarantee what model will be in stock next. It seems to be purely random what species we will get next.

BTW, we did the same thing with Fred that you did with Kane. We fostered her, named her Fred, then decided we wanted to keep her. This was through the shelter and so they had to spay her before we could adopt her. The guy at the pound insisted that we had to change her name. His exact words "You are going to have to change her name, she is FEMALE." Yeah yeah yeah dude, you want to hand me my cat and I will get the H out of here.
(Btw Fred's sister is named Stanley.
Here is Fred.

Now that's a funny pic Scott...

I have good news to report. My wife has found a succor, I mean friend of a friend, who is coming by tomorrow to get 2 kittens. She has no idea, but there will be 3 in that car before she leaves my property....
If I can't convince her to take the third, then I'll just shove her under the seat when the woman's not looking.
I'll report back tomorrow, but Scotts & Spidey, it looks like you might be off the hook.

Well, the lady has come, and gone, taking 0 cats with her. Turns out she is just coming off the loss of a longtime cat, and thought this might trigger her to get over it. But she said it "didn't feel right, just not the time yet"....

So back to square one.

So you get to keep the little poopers for a little longer, Woo HOO!!!!

You better start naming them.
BTW if you really want to get rid of them, have you thought about contacting the shelter? They might make perfect Christmas present.
