Get some more zoos and the tank will be kicking!
Oh, and if you don't wanna zap your aptasia, you could get some pepermint shrimp. I had a couple, and bought two pep shrimp, and they took care of it real quick

Swimmer4uus: I have been thinking about possibly getting some pepp shrimp. Some people say they work and some say they don't. I may just end up getting some just for the heck of it. :)
dc: The heater was from a lady's freshwater tank that she got rid of. She didn't give me any instructions or anything. She had it for like 8 years so I just got the heater and I dont know how many watts. Sorry. Also I just kept the same lights as what came with the tank. And it is a 24 Gallon Aquapod. :) Sorry I couldn't really help you. :(
Thanks for the replies everybody! Keep on!

I read some article somewhere that if you buy 2, they'll "compete" for food, and are more likely to eat the aptasia. Don't know if it's true, but I'd put 10 bucks on it

Hahaha ok. I think they're pretty cheap at my lfs so I'll have to check it out!! I want a cleaner shrimp too. Will the two different types fight?

I think they're a hit and miss with mixing. I had 2 pep shrimp, with 2 cleaner shrimp in my 9 gal before it crashed, and they wheren't fighting, but they also wheren't friendly. In that tank though, they had a lot more hiding spots, and I rarely saw the peps. I've yet to get peps for my 20 gal as I have no aptasia yet.

Yeah. My dad has two or three peppermint shrimp in his 55 gallon and they are barely ever out. But they climb up the little bubble tubes in his tank and they look pretty funny. I'll just have to wait and see how the chips fall. LOL

I think my dad might have got his for about $10 or $15. I can't remember. I wasn't with him that time. Sometimes he takes secret trips to the lfs without me cause he know I'll want to buy something. :) I can't help it.

I was just looking at your thread, and your tank looks pretty good. I don't know if it's just me, but your tank looks a bit bigger than 20 gallons. Probably because it's a long. Do you like my pics?

yeah, it's because it's long. I really like the bigger footprint tanks. Gives you a lot more room to work with in my opinion. And yeah, ur pics are nice. Keep it up.

yeah, I know what it's like to have a thread, and be pretty much the only one replying in it. That's ok though, I like posting pictures
