Getting pics of this guy is almost impossible these days....he sees me and I guess he gets all excited cause he is expecting food%
BUT....here are 2 I just got...

I can tell a difference somewhat, but his attitude has never changed....he has never acted like a "sick" fish.....I was thinking of moving him to the 29G tomorrow....meds are done....I actually medicated for 6 days.....
so....move him? Don't move him? I just have to hope that the chalk bass doesn't mess with him....anyone know about their demeanor????

When you move him, place the bass in QT for a week or so, so that he looses his territory in the display. Maybe he should join the abusive clownfish in the other tank.
Can you post the big pictures again, rather than uploading them from SWF.com?

I can't really see the details of the old wounds, but it does look like he has a smoother look, less bumpy, and hopefully ready to grow back some scales.
Seriously think about moving the bass. This guy seems good to go whenever you are ready.
When making the transfer, do not net the fish out of water. Submerge a ziplock and move him into the ziplock submerged under water.

That's what I was saying the other day.....looks less bumpy

the bass has a burrow under all the rock in the 29G.....he.she retreats into that...there is no way I can remove the rock w/o ruining a bunch of stuff...I have corals spreading across rocks.....
.....I'll see what I can do about the bass though.........I'll keep you informed

Mine is very laid back. Maybe because the African Flameback Angel keeps him in check, IDK. But again mine is very laid back. doesn't bother anyone. Eats like a bass, attacks the food, has bounced off my pond net top a number of times coming out of the water while feeding on floating pellets. But never bothers other fish. Has his hidey hole in the substrate under some rocks. I don't think I could ever catch him without ripping the tank apart.

If it will eat from a stick then maybe you can net it from it's blind side.
maybe....But the 29G has very little spare space......I'll see what happens in the morning....But I think this bass is nobody's fool....LOL

He went straight to the bottom corner.....the citron goby swam by him.....he looked kinda excited to see another fish...LOL....Maybe he was lonely in the 5G
The Chalk Bass came out...peeked at him, and swam away....we shall see how it goes when the clown gets a little braver and comes out
I just posted this in anotehr thread too, but you could try getting the bass to chase a laser pointer into whatever kind of trap you want. bass are nutorious for chasing lasers anyways. Could work out for you.
My friend in a frag club posted a video of her clown chasing a laser, pretty funny.

Lol, it's been so long since my clowns have seen another fish they are afraid of the LMB I put in the tank today.
I'm glad the clown is looking better though!
He was in a sorry state.

Night #2....so far all is well....the clown even ventured into the caves and neither the bass or the zebra goby seemed to care...
