There is no more over-rated conference, in any sport, than the SEC. People are living in the dominant Miami past.
Que? Not sure who you're taking that shot at...
Miami was in the Big 10 1991-2003, and ACC 2004-present. There was really never a 'good' Miami team in the ACC...
If you do mean the SEC, I think people are living in the Florida present...
Plus, I can think of some worse conferences, like the NFC in the NFL

How is the SEC over-rated? They have won 3 of the past 4 Championships. Florida Lsu Then Florida. Only mishap was when Texas beat USC. They, the SEC, are also favored to win it again this year.
Aqua Miami was in the Big East not Big 10.

Someone needs to tell Oklahoma they are overrated and Georgia that the SEC is the best conference.

You don't watch much football do you?
Miami has never been in the SEC.

They were in the Big East silly, not the Big 10 from 91-03.
And are you serious?!? The NFC is easily the better conference going into this year. Honestly, I don't think it's even close this year.

If they keep getting lucky enough to get paired against a big 10 patsy they will never lose a championship game

Oklahomo in any BCS bowl game is an easy draw too.

The Trojans Frosh QB looked pretty good yesterday huh RR? Bad news for THE Ohio St. this week.

Don't be surprised if Alabama makes a decent run either.

LOL, I even looked up the dates they were in the conferences, saw Big East, thought Big East, and wrote Big 10
.
The NFC comments, I was just trying to blast as many people as possible, but I'll let the last 10 or so years of football speak for that one...

Yeah and the running game seems to be hitting on 8 but Jose aint Ohio State. Good tune up game for the true freshman but we will see how good the kid really is now.

Sorry, meant Oklahoma State.1) True, I did forget Miami was in another conference, but since Alabama and Bear Bryant there have been few true powerhouses-mostly SEC plays 2nd or 3rd tier teams from Big 10 for championships and people are screaming that the system is unfair. 2)I never mentioned the NFC and think they are the class of the NFL. I am a Chiefs fan, so I think I'm unbiased in that opinion. 3)I don't think Oklahoma is over-rated, someone else posted that in defense of the SEC-which IS over-rated.

How is the Champion of the Big 10 which Ohio State was during those SEC championship runs second tier?
The SEC has two divisions. The two best who get through play each other for the Championship of that division at a neutral site. Its not like the Big 10 or weak Pac 10 where you just win x amount more games than anybody else and you win a BCS berth.
If you dont think Oklahoma is over rated you are nuts. They have lost every major bowl game they have been in the past 4 years. Starting with the greatest bowl game ever Boise St vs OU. Texas crushed them last year. Now they lose to 20th ranked BYU.
Its SEC then USC then everybody else. LOL.

SEC hasn't played "SEC Style Defense" in a long time. I would have loved to have seen any of the last few USC teams get ahold of the best the SEC had to offer

USC and Florida Las year would had been an amazing game. Not so sure Florida would had won.
All I have to say is Taylor Mays.

USC got the biggest hose job in the history of the BCS last year....All year long ESPN keeps telling everyone how bad the PAC 10 is (of course the PAC 10 is the only major conference that is a TV contract with FOX, not that that has anything to do with it)
. Texas comes down to the last play of the game against THE Ohio St, a team USC obliterated, and Oklahomo lays their typical egg in the title game while USC is left destroying Penn St. while the PAC 10 goes 5-0 in bowl games. Should have been Florida Vs. USC in the title game.

Hopefully the freshie can get them back to the promise land. That defense is sick, It would be a sweet game of some say the greatest College player ever in Tebow vs the rookie out in SoCal.
USC should smack Ohio State around without issues this Saturday night

The PAC needs to schedule their west coast games earlier so the east coast voters (which are the majority of them) can see more of the PAC games.

Last year would have been better. SC lost a lot of D to the draft. Would have been nice to see Tebow vs Malaluga. The shock wave from the impact would have knocked over players within 10 yards

The biggest travesty in NCAA football is that Boise State, my alma mater, can't get any elite (so-called) teams to play them. So two years ago they had 2 losses, look at the last 15 years-they have been dominant. Since beating Oklahoma 3 years ago, no top tier teams will play them. Utah is another great team that will continue to get hosed cause SEC/PAC10/Big10 teams are cowards.

They got beat by TCU in their Bowl game last year, they might want to worry about beating them before they start worrying about USC or Florida or LSU in a BCS game. Sure they beat Oklahoma a few years ago, everybody houses OU in BCS games, it's like a gimme. Again, my UW Husky's played them 2 years ago and walked all over them in route to 8th in the PAC 10 that year.
