HEY...Is there a way to copy all the sites I have in my favorites folder, so I don't have to remember them, or go look them up again and again/

sure is, ready for the steps? Assuming IE8 here:
1. click on file -> import and export.
2. place the dot in export to file. click next.
3. place the check marks in the boxes you want. (favorites and cookies would be suggested) click next.
4. choose the folder you want to export if you have multiple folders in your favorites list. (this is assinine as in IE7 and IE6 you didnt have to do this part. If you have multiple folders, run thought this for each folder you want to export.) click next.
5. choose a file location for your favorits and click next.
6. choose a file location for your cookies and click next.
7. click finish.
your favorites and cookies have been exported to the files you choose in the locations you have chosen. Its a simple matter to get them imported onto the new PC.
1. click on file in IE8 and then import and export.
2. put the dot in import and click next.
3. Choose what you want to import. click next.
4. browse to where you copied the files from the old machine. (to make life easier, you could zip them up and email them to yourself.)
5. choose the folder of where you want to place your favorites. click next.
6. click finish.
and now your new machine has the favorites and cookies (if choosen) from your old machine.

IE7 should be almost the same. It might not have the same individual steps, but it works the same way. Let me know if you have problems with it.

those files are soo small, it would make more sense to email them to yourself as opposed to fiddling with a CD. do you not have a flash drive, mp3 player, or some other rewriteable storage?

YAYYY...That was easy..LOL...The favorites and cookies are now on my flash drive
Can I also save the printer, or will I have to re-install it? I have the software, so re-installing is no biggie
I also saved some of my music on the flash drive. Since I am keeping the old computer, I'm not too worried about anything else right now, and since it comes with trials of word and all that, I have plenty of time to do the programming
Probably the week between Christmas & New Years .....I have a lot of days off, and my husband has to work...

You will have to reinstall the printer.
LOL...I figured that....Not too worried about that either......I don't print a heck of a lot
HURRY FED EX!!!!!!!!!!....
ALTHO....I really need to egt in the kitchen and start making the cheesecake for mom-in-laws tomorrow.....

Unless it's a real old printer, Windows 7 should have a driver for it. Just plug it in, and the OS will do the rest.
