I am rooting for the Saints in the NFC. I never root for any NFC teams, but the Saints are too good of a story not to get behind.
I want the Colts to win it all too (of course) but if that run defense doesn't find a way to improve in the next couple of weeks, we won't make it to the AFC Championship game.
The offense needs to step it up too.....

how about that MNF game??? the first half was totally boring, but it was another great game between the Jets and Dolphins...
Yep...it was a sleeper until the 4th QT on Mon night. I am of the opinion that Romo does not desrve to be playing in the Pro Bowl. He only played about 8 games at the time of the voting being finalized. I would like to see some minimum amount of games played for a player to qualify. I also feel the voting is too early in a season.
Colts have a tough road given their defense and the way they are playing. They had a great regular season last year then spit the bit in the playoffs. Perhaps this year they will have a run in the playoffs.
Me-O has led the league in drops for many seasons since 2000. It appeared Newman was calling him out to shut up and play earlier this week ......but he did not name him.

Yep...should bea fun weekend for football. I thought Romo was over rated..then changed my mind...now I am leaning towards he ain't nuttin special. He has not looked very good down the stretch..and that is when a QB needs to shine in the regular season playoff dash at the end.
He's easily forgotten now.

I dont know RU , he is working weith what he has ... he cant even get into his 5th step alot of times. I agree the Cowboys look like a one and out team in the play offs , but you cant blame Romo for defensive struggles. They still put up 31 points and Romo drove them when they needed to be driven. Cant fault the guy for a few mistakes .....
By the way anybody see that call at the begining of the game for Williams returned the INT for a TD...... "Hitting a Defensless reciever!" he touched the ball and got pounded over the middle. So your tellin me playing football is a penalty.... Refs were awful today, game looked bought. That stole any momentum the cowboys would have had.
Im happy some announcers are starting to get behind TO, saying he needs to be used early.
Everybody talks about TO being a pain in the behind but look at the Cowboys , they have disrespected this guys abilities every siungle game this season...
About todays loss I would rather play the Seahawks over the Giants anyway so no sweat off my back , we may get out of the first round but when we meet up with the saints or eagles its all over.
Alot of people say its going to be TO or Parcells that is gone next season ..... I can only hope its Parcells , and we pickj up a head coach that will use his players correctly ..... IE Barber and TO.
Happy New Year yall! :cheer: :cheer:

I agree I was extremely angry about that fumble, 3 in the game for him , one he was lucky that TO bailed him out... he deffinatly doesnt look like he did before , I just hope he can overcome his confidence problem for the playoffs, If he would quit listening to Parcells and going to TO early he would have it made.

He has deffinatly made his share of mistakes , but What I meant was you cant overcome that crappy Defense. No team should be allowing 39 points to the Lions.
Kitna, and a revamped O Line full of back ups..... should = 10 sacks.

He is still young and can improve. He has FAILED the test of putting a team on his shoulders and winning a big game down the stretch.
Forcing throws to TO is NOT the answer for the Cowboys. They simply are not a very good team.
That is why I was hesitant to jump on the Romo bandwagon. You have to see how these young QB's play when the stretch run for the playoffs kicks in.
Cowboys look like they will be one and done.

He DOES NOT deserve to be in the Pro Bowl.

Brees, Saints will march to Super Bowl win
In what some are predicting to be a magical run for the Saints in the playoffs, the post-season is beginning to look just as charmed as the Saint’s fairytale regular season. Three independent sports writers are predicting that the Saints will not only reach the Super Bowl, but that the new “America’s Team” will be NFL champions.
Citing Sean Payton’s coaching ability, an underrated defense and the explosiveness of Drew Brees, Marques Colston and the entire Saints offense, critics are going out on a limb to predict that the Saints will take home the title.
1. What will be the biggest surprise?
Mark Schlereth: New Orleans' defense will rise to the occasion and help lead the Saints to the Super Bowl. The Saints' D has given up big plays, but it's underrated. New Orleans executes well and will elevate its game. They will come together, especially with a week off to rest and get ready.
Eric Allen: The Saints' going into Chicago and handily beating the Bears will be the surprise of the playoffs. The Saints will control the game from beginning to end. Saints coach Sean Payton does a great job getting his guys ready to win, and they do a great job executing his game plan.

The Cinderella story continues.
The Saints explosive offense and scrambling defense should carry them into the Super Bowl against the Chargers, where MVP candidate Drew Brees should exact revenge on his former team and give us one of the feel-good stories on the year.

Tomlinson Won MVP... i thought Brees would get mor than 4 votes...
LaDainian Tomlinson San Diego 44
Drew Brees New Orleans 4
Peyton Manning Indianapolis 2

You could argue manning and Brees are more valuable to their team then Tomlinson is to San Diego. I'm surprised the spread was that big.
All are worthy of the award....certainly can't argure one over the other...as all three mean alot to thier team . All three had great years.
