Cowboys vs. Saints

Too bad the great Romo choked once again in a big game. Hard to know if Seattle would have still lost...as perhaps the great Gramatica might have missed. Also, Seattle would have gotten the ball back and that great Dallas secondary may have fallen on thier faces once again.
Way to go Cowchokers.

Blame Romo, Parcells, and Glenn.... in that order. Wont be a contender for 5 years. Say goodbye to T.O. AND Parcells. It was nice havin T.O. on the team , he was disrespected all year not being used and now in the playoffs, now he will catch a ton of flack for opening his mouth. I feel bad for the guy..... GO RAVENS!

And to think some were trying to figure out if they should call the Great Romo Troy or Roger. Call him CHOKER.
Young QB's do sometimes struggle under the pressure. He also fumbled which could have caost the team.
I disagree with having him hold for extra points and field goals as the QB starter. . He has been having trouble holding on to the ball lately any way.

Because he was a back up at the begining of the season he had to keep holding for XP's because he started the year as the back up , and that position cannot be given to a QB that started out as a starter

Yep....down the stretch his QB rating was below par for a starting QB and a Pro-Bowler. His 10 game season was nothing special in the long run.
Dropping a ball like that on a field goal attempt is inexcusable in a big playoff game.

I would compare Romo to Eli Manning, Manning had problems all year. Still wouldnt trade for him straight up, maybe for a 1st round draft pick

Many teams utilize thier punter. I realize he was a bencher at the beginning of the year.
I'm sure someone else is capable.....at least they probably would not have spit the bit.

He did get the cowboys in the playoffs and when the Defense started to falter as well as the O-Line he still put the points up on the board , so that statement really isnt fair

I liked the Romo story with a guy coming out of a small college program. Success came fast and now so has failure. Who knows...he may now suffer from a terminal case of Scott Norwwod Vanderfoot desease. THis could do him in....hopefully it will not.

Its probably expected that I play this card and maybe a cliche , but the refs DID keep the Seahawks in the game with alot of questionable calls , especially spotting Witten back a half yard on angles that make spot look further back than it was , that line judge was 6 feet fromo the play and could see it clearly.
No excuses though , in the end the Boys beat themselves , Im ready for Baseball

Sorry...he choked in the end. You can diagnose it any way you like ...but what he did fits the definition of choking.
Great players rise to the occassion in big games. He is young and he may get other oppurtunities to put his first big choke in his first big playoff game to rest. .

that witten spot was a matter of if you were going for the boys or the hawks... my buddy thats a boys fan said first down... the rest of the room (as did i) said no way its a first down... it clearly was not... but should hav been a little closer than the 1.5 yrd line...

Dropping 3 of your last 3 does not make you a playoff team..... all I can hope for is for the giants *a team who fell into the playoffs with a DRUNK stagger* to not win the SB , or the eagles, I hope Jeff Garcia tears his Achilles **~~**~~NOT A JOKE~~**~~**

I thought he did not make the first down meaning he did not make it to the one. I could not pin this loss on the refs. I have to pin it on Romo. The play to be made was at hand...and his hands were not up to the task.

i would say the Hawks D kept them in the game... that T Glenn fumble was caused by Boulware... then the O capitolized on the free kick... ultimately romo lost it...
