I have never been a Cowboys fan and never will be. I really disliked them during the 90s not because of their success, but because everyone jumped on the bandwagon.
agreed...

LMAO!!!! I guess the fact that we have 5 or something that you know deep down Peyton will NEVER get even 1 of has nothing to do with it

Do you even actually believe this argument????? So i guess you hate the Dolts now also. Every person i see has a #18 CHOKER jersey on now. 5 years ago there was about 10 colts fans on the planet. Now all of a sudden, all these diehards from way back are around telling me how they were diehard thru a million straight 2-14 seasons.
Not sure if you are implying I also jumped on in the 90's but if you are just let me know. I'll gladly post pics of the kid sized Dorsett and Danny White jerseys I wore in the late 70's and early 80's and still have.

I chose the Colts because I didn't want to root for the same team everyone else in my family did. So, when I was around 9 or 10 I picked the Colts because no one else liked them.
When I was 13 (25 now), I got my first two football jerseys.....Jim Harbaugh and Marshall Faulk.
The next year they made it to the AFC championship game and lost to Pittsburg who went on to lose to your Cowboys.
Anyway, while the Colts may not make it to the Superbowl I am a fan for life, no matter what. Peyton will get there one day. It took John Elway his whole career to win his Superbowls. He lost 4 (or was it 3?). If the Colts defense would get their game together, the Colts would have no problem getting there. While Peyton may struggle in big games, he is not losing the game for them. The losses by the Colts are more of a result of poor defense than poor offense. If they don't do it this year, then maybe next year....and maybe next year I will have to say the same and the year after that.....who knows.
The bandwagon comment was not directed at you, but at all the kids in school that started wearing those retarded starter jackets and claiming whatever team was winning that year.
One more thing, since we are living in the past, the only time the Cowboys and Colts (Baltimore) met in a Superbowl (Superbowl 5), the Colts won.

Didnt you take us to task and call us idiots when we said we would beat Indy, actually i only said we may beat them. Wasnt that you saying we had no chance against Peyton and knew nothing about football to think so???
What a surprise, another one whose team is so bad they have to live thru the Saints and spend more energy hating the Cowboys than rooting for their own team

Lol, I conviently refuse to acknowledge that victory. I was born just after that Superbowl and only recognize after that point. I maintain that the Cowboys must not have been really trying til i was born
They did win the Title the next year after i was born, so it must be true.
Peyton definitely wont be the reason they lose this year but he has hurt them in past playoffs. Except against Denver, he really hasnt had monster games in the playoffs like he does regularly in the regular season. Weather will always hurt you as long as you have that fast paced offense. That puts alot of pressure to have home field every year. How exactly does Tony Dungy have a defense THAT bad?!?!? Its amazing Billick is a offensive genius and has no offense and an amazing defense for 5 years. Dungy is a defensive genius and has a amazing offense but a horrible defense for 5 years :notsure: Tomlinson must be delirious thinking of getting your defense at home now maybe in the playoffs. We might finally be able to erase Dickersons humiliation of the Cowboys in 85 from the recordbooks. That 248 still haunts me since my big brother was a rams fan just to PO me and my dad. I still hear about that game from him

I think Dungy is part of our problem. He just doesn't get very fired up.
Does anyone else find it strange that the Bucs won a Superbowl the year after Dungy left?

My prediction is that the Chargers will represent the AFC in the Superbowl this year.....did I just say that?

Thats a convienient dig at Dungy but really that was him team that won. He put it together and built it but a little better coaching definitely helped. Its the same thing as what people say about Tennessee winning after Peyton left but its kinda comparing apples to o0ranges. The Bucs all had career years that year and were in their primes. With that defense, they very well may have won if Dungy had stayed. Gruden definitely opened the offense and helped win the title though.

The Chargers look VERY good. No way Indy can stop Tomlinson and i Wonder if Baltimore can even slow him this year. Is it even possible for him to not score 3 tds? I remember distincly every one of Emmitts 25 and how amazing that seemed. To have 26 RUSHING tds thru 13 games not to mention 3 receiving and 2 passing. That is insane :scared: I havent checked but i guarantee that is more than at least a few TEAMS have!!! He gonna hit 35 rush/receiving tds this year.

Not if the Jags have anything to do with it.

Wait till next year!! Sorry...slipped out being a Saints fan I have said that about 32 times around mid-season each year.
This is the FIRST time I can use Saints and Super Bowl in the same sentence...and NOT actually laugh.

Huh? What about 87? I remember being amazed the Saints were that good. I was praying they would take down either SF or Washington in the playoffs. I couldnt believe Minnesota housed them like that

JimMora much like many other nfl coaches could not figure out the second season which is called the nfl playoffs. Outcome of that game was predictable....Saints loss as Mora was a playoff loser.
And for the record..it is hosed not housed.

Like i said before, i played fairly big time middle school and high school football and EVERY coach i ever had said to watch the onsides EVERY single kickoff. To let a team get away with it is sheer laziness and completely unacceptable. In about the last 10 years, their have been 5 surprise onsides kicks that i can remember against the Cowboys. 4 the kicking team has recovered and 1 Randall Williams returned for a td against the Eagles a few years ago. Completely unacceptable!
You are also taught at ALL levels to hustle back to set up blocks. THe message is planted but so is the 'hustle back". In your mind if you feel the onside kick is not coming...you opt for the hustle back. The ENTIRE front line was in the back mode for D.
I imagine the coaches upstairs or on the sidelines noticed DAllas was more interested in getting back to set up blocks. It was a risk call but it paid off.
SAme thing happened to the Saints against Frisco...only Saints D stepped up with an interceptioon the next play.
I beleive many onside kicks in non-conventional situations for same are successfell. I've not seen a stat but it sure seems like when it is tried it succeeds more than fails when the situation does not dictate an onside kick is likely.
I thought I heard Bust say Beep Beep as he ran through the Dallas defense on that one TD.

Actually, hosed means you got screwed or ripped off. Housed means you got pounded. Its a street term. When you lose by 34 you got "housed" not "hosed"
nice try though

GO Redskins
and any team that is playing Dallas, Denver, and New England.
I do not keep up with all the stats or history for any team.
I do agree with TXreef about Dungy and the Bucs, I have thought that myself.
