I have a few bottles.....I used it in the 225G a few times....then to tell you the truth...I forgot about it

You will lower the waste numbers with very little work, this will make some of the hard to grow corals easier to keep. Sand beds will stay unclogged if done right for very long time. Better coral color from corals that eat bacteria. Coral mag will be putting out some articles on this subject so look for it. Do I do it no but any one dosing vodka is doing it in some form and it has not come full circle as of yet. But when it does it will be like going from a under gravel filter to live rock and sand.

I am taking about the use of bacteria and the control of its growth to keep a coral reef closer to its natural environment to benefit us.

Hmm. The info I had on it was as a disease preventative. The info I had was that it is microorganisms that help to alter the antimicrobial characteristics of the host to ward off disease. It is commonly found in the fish's gills and intestines.
It could do what you are proposing, since it is microorganisms being added to the system.

Probiotic
definition
For us it is a system of keeping a saltwater tank with specialized equipment that by restoring the balance of microflora is
beneficial

Are you measuring the other aspects of the tank? Just seeing ammonia is nice and all, but you would want to know if nitrite and nitrate went up and then back down too.

Just tested it, Ammonia=0
Nitrites=0
Nitrates=15ppm
When Nitrates = 0 start adding a pinch of fish food as much as you would feed one fish. Ideally nitrate will stay at zero if it does then you can add a fish. This makes sense right? You test that the bacteria will control the waste before you add the fish so not to have any losses.

Okay, I went to the pet store with a sample of water. They said it was fine to add hermits and maybe some chromis. So we went and got 2 hermits and 2 green chromis. Lets see what happens

i would have tested my own water to be sure altho chromis are very hardy and may live through a cycle if its not done yet

No, it is nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria
I am going to disagree on one statement here. I do not know of any product that is on the market that will supply you with anaerobic bacteria for di -nitrification
also waiting for nitrates to reach zero may in fact have you waiting for ever. Once your ammonia spike and nitrite spike has returned to zero you are good to continue. Just do a small water change
