My Darth Mauls sprouted one more polyp. I actually traded some other zoas for them with some guy in my area.

Heres an updated full tank shot that I took today. I know its really overgrown, but I'll be starting my larger tank in the summer.

It looks fabulous Lauren!
Seeing your tank makes me miss my nano.
I have a 90 gal. now that is now five months old and I put everything from my JBJ 24 DX and a ton of new SPS frags and cannot wait for it all to grow out.
You will miss your mature tank that is loaded with coral whenever you upgrade.

thanks bonebrake! I was looking for a thread on your 90 gal... You should start one! I'm doing a very small upgrade. My new tank is only going to be 18 gallons, but that's 18 gallons of display, so it'll be quite a bit bigger than this tank.
here are some more shots I took.

My new Mini-Carpet Anemones

DeMartini, do your mini-carpets move around much?? Have they stung anything?
They look fantastic and I'm thinking of trying to get a few, but have no experience with them.

They move around that rock a lot, but they never leave it. My sexy shrimp love to hang out on them! they are really cool little anemones. Don Lino sold me those... he may have some more for sale.

WOW I havent checked your thread out in a while, just when you think it cant get much better.... it does, looks awesome
... sweet anemones too.
What is that little pink/red flower looking thing with the green polyps on it?
Ok I found out what its called, Pink Toadstool Leather right? If so I have another question, where the heck did you find it? I have been searching for one and they are not easy to find. Of course I bet your gonna say "My LFS has some"
I never see cool stuff like this come through any of my LFS's

Your tank is just beautiful Lauren. I was wondering about aleopathy with the varied coral though. Do you do anything to help to prevent chemical warfare like running carbon?
You take great pictures, good detail on the macros.

Thank you so much! It's a Tyree Leather toadstool, it's kinda hard to find. I had been looking for one for a while, and I finally found a baby at a LFS about an hour from my house. That LFS tends to have a lot of cool stuff.

Thank you. Theres nothing in my tank that that can hurt each other through chemical warfare. There's a few things that may sting each other, but I make sure they have enough room apart from each other. If I was to try keeping sps with my softies I would run carbon to help prevent chemical warfare between them.

Interesting. What kind of light and flow are they in and do you feed them at all?
Beautiful tanks, by the way! Are you an artist type (looking at your avatar)?

They are under 70w metal halides and in a low flow area. I feed them mysis shrimp once a week.
I'm not an artist, but I love art, and I'm actually minoring in art history. My avatar is of me fooling around on photo booth on my mac. lol.
