nice im jealous=P i can't wait to get some of those, i did get a Armor of god pally but the bag it was in leaked and its not doin good
i think it will die
also i have a pod explosion in the tank to the point where they are even bothering my other zoo's. i think i will have to get a mandarin at least just for a while to control the population.

I'm sure these questions have been asked a million times. but what type of filters are you using? wow this gives me more hopes on making my 20gal H nano look good. I have live rock,live sand. Nova extreme T5 96watt setup,HOB wet-dry/mech-chem filter and a powerhead. (moving 434gals). also have crushed coral in the bio part of the HOB. i hope thats enough water movement.
Also where did you get all your different clove polpys from. I love those and can't ever find them anywhere! Rics are awesome as well and the zoo's with the electric blue centers. I want to find some of these frags so if you have any web stores you bought from let me know Thanks. any special needs for the anemone shrimp or the pom pom crab? would a clam survive under 96watts T5 bulbs? where at on craigslist did people sell corals?

I had been looking for mini carpet anemones and a member on here (donlino) just happened to have the coolest ones!! I got lucky! they were $10 a piece and he gave me one extra.

I don't use a filter. I took out all the filter media that came with my BC and replaced it with live rock. However, I do use a little filter floss.
I would take the crushed coral out of your filter and replace it with small pieces of live rock... otherwise your filter should be fine.
I buy all my corals from my local fish stores. You can find most of the stuff I have online. check out cherrycorals.com for cool zoas. on craigs list I just searched for live corals in my area.
My pom pom crab and sexy shrimp have no special requirements. They are scavengers, so they will eat anything.
if you keep a clam close to the surface it should do ok. Stick with deresa or crocea clams because they don't require as much light as the other clams.

cool thanks for the replies. i got two small percula clowns,white star polpys,green organ pipes,brown with green center star polpys,GBTA,sky blue candy cane stalks also on a ---- store. sweet i would like to get either the shrimp or the crab eventually. i just hope 434gals per hr output is enough for the tank? with your filter do you have any powerheads? i guess i will have to wait until i get the animals in the tank to see how much water movement i have going on. i could always remove the powerhead and have a HOB prizm skimmer and just run two HOB. wonder what would be better? leave it the way i have it with one PH and one HOB or two HOB(skimmer-(wet-dry. i always thought skimmers took to much good things out of the water?

yay finally ur alive and well=P, its hard getting a nano started especially when i don't have u to hold my hand

(shes is my hand holder but i still have another one for u).
how are ur Darth Maul any babys yet, my zoo's went from 6 to 8=P.( ur bad ass for spending 100 on them lmao but knowing u sweet talked a good deal, then again u prob already have every soft coral out there) i especially love ur blue snow flakes that are pretty rare around here.
hope ur doing well and as is ur tank.

Your power head should be strong enough for your tank. I run a maxijet 900 ( 240 gph). If I were you I would forget the HOB prizm and just leave the power head. In a nano reef it isn't necessary to have a skimmer bc we do a lot of water changes anyways.
