The only problem with PETA is that they are getting more and more radical violent ala the A.L.F. who are a documented TERRORIST ORGANIZATION!

I love my MEAT, I Love my Veal Parmigiana Sandwich, I respect the Right of PETA to exist and say what they say, but I dont always agree with their actions. BUT I draw the line when they cross over to side of persuasion or telling how to live my life and what I can and cannot eat.

That is interesting. Some people believe that the hormones that are pumped into cows are causing our female youth to reach puberty sooner. Thoughts?
Discuss.
that’s actually being researched now. The hormones pumped in the food live stock to prevent illness in the animals is causing lower immunity in humans and strains of bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics.
In my uneducated thoughts, I don’t doubt that the hormones would have an ill effect on kids today.

Lactose intolerance is a genetic condition that has evolved several times throughout human history, and has nothing to do with antibiotics and milk, which are a very recent combination.
Hmm. I guess the lecture I sat in was biased and one sided.

I think you can find a scientific study to prove whichever side you are on. However, I will say that I was sick to my stomache all the time
before I switched to organic dairy and meat products. I went to several doctors and specialists. They even stuck a tube down my throat. They could not find a reason for my constant illness. I read a book about organic animal products, decided it was worth a try, and voila I'm cured. That is just me though.
I couldn't even think about drinking a glass of milk, until I switched to organic grass fed.

I don't doubt this one bit. I should have elaborated a bit more on my post about hormones and antibiotics. The Speaker was a Dr who studies human adaptation and growth. Stating that antibiotics and hormones were increasing the numbers of people who suffer from lactose intolerance and meat type allergies. Along with infants and juveniles bodies that are increasingly growing resistant to pharmaceuticals. He also talked about mercury based pharmaceuticals and the reaction that children are having at the infant stages of inoculation.
As a non parent but still actively involved in the emergency room care and post treatment I found the study to be interesting and plate full to think about as I get closer to starting a family.
