My duncan colony that is growing the fastest was being hosted by a Clarkki Clown. The clown would grab krill off a feeding stick as I try to feed my Fuzzy Dwarf, then feed it to the duncans.
Haha my gsm clown tries to do the same when my fuzzy dwarf doesn't see a piece of krill sinking to the bottom. As soon as it hits the ground (at which point the lion completely loses interest), he snags it and drops it on his precious plate coral.

I will. He emailed me that due to some family things the corals are sent on Monday for Tuesday delivery. I can't wait! I'm hoping to get a new camera this weekend so that I can really make justice for my corals.

Check out the one I just bought!

Awesome purchase

And Spiderwoman, I'm a member of the 'almost bought a duncan from that guy' club, as well. I'm interested to see pics when you get it in your tank!

I love that color, it is so unique! I'm thinking of trying to collect all different Duncan colors I can get my hands on and make a *Duncan Garden* :)
That's exactly what I'm trying to do. Great / Addicted minds think alike

Hi I'm addicted!
I probably have to change my screen name at some point to DuncanWoman
Too early still
lol, yeah you may want to wait for the garden to grow. I've been looking around to expand my collection, but sadly, the pickings are slim. This collection is gonna take some patience.
It's always nice to see others so open about being hooked on the hobby. As a matter of fact, my name on a few other forums is 'Addicted'.

What I like about Duncans is the fact that not everybody has them (price and availability) and they are so unique looking. Just about everybody has fancy paly's and zoa's so it's hard to create something unique with them.

You forgot one thing about why they're so great: They're huge!

They'll grow out quickly with consistent feeding

I'm about to place an order for my second duncan variation

They're purple with yellow tips. I can't wait to see them in person!

Mine doesn't look like that
Mine actually looks like any other Duncan to be honest. That pic is clearly taken under 20k and possibly also actinics on. Mine is beautiful don't get me wrong and it has 3-4 new babies coming from the side. My best Duncan's are definitely the 3 head ORA Duncan's I got from Viper a few weeks ago. They are very deep green in color and their heads are huge.

You bought that from Sonny at rare coral on the bay. The pic are taken under higher k lights. IMO rare corals is dirty seller.
I boguht a couple of frags from him that looked nothing like what the pic showed. Plus a couple of the frags had red worms on them and three of the frags were dead. Rarecoral is a coral hacker.
My buddy bought a duncans with me and when the package arrived the ducan looked like crap also all bleached out. Just keep feeding it, myssis, and other scrapes. It will get nicer.
My friends duncan in 4 months has grown a load of new heads going around the main head and are branching out now. He feeds it ever other day. The new heads look a lot nicer then the mother.
Anyway it seems you are another buyer of Sonnys rare crap coral
