Explain why I should take this seriously?

Seems like our redneck rancher is a racist. Now there's a surprise. Now all these Republican Tea Baggers like Crazy Cruz, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio that were applauding his efforts of not allowing Big Mean Government from telling him what to do with his cows are running for the hills making this guy look like a viral disease. The life of a politician.

Did the guy have a record of racist remarks prior to this? But I guess we can apply your same standard to 0bama and Reverend Writes racist anti American rants? I mean after all 0bama sat in his church for 20 years. Those politicians were supporting Bundy's cause for 20 days.

So this guy objects to "negroes" being on government subsidy, while he grazes his cows for free on federal land. Whew, the hypocrisy of it all!

Irrelevant. It just shows his true colors. Obama was nothing more that an attendee to his church. Went there for years before this guy made that one rant. He still supports Wright in regards to his religious values. I don't believe he ever validated or supported those comments he made.

Meanwhile, Cruz, Rubio, and Paul jumped on this guy's bandwagon with that idiot Hannity about "American freedoms", but when he came out with these remarks he some kind of pariah. If they really cared about his cause, they'd still support him regardless of these moronic comments he's making now.

It was more than one rant.
Lets say a guy supports gay marriage, is in a battle against a state to be able to be married. The President or a white house official backs his play and voices support for him. Then this guy turns around and gives a rant against religious organizations and calls them new age terrorists. would you expect the white house to distance themselves or continue to show support for his gay marriage battle?

You say irrelevant and then make my point for me. The cause the politicians were supporting is the high handed way the BLM attempted to collect this debt and when this guy made what were ignorant remarks they called him on it. JUST LIKE YOUR GOD 0BAMA.
By the way you might want to listen the rest of his little talk that day before deciding he's a racist. He has some interesting things to say about illegal aliens. What he said was stupid but I am not so sure racist is the right word for it considering the rest of his remarks.

OH yeah. Essentially saying Blacks should've stuck to picking cotton would make any other statement he made philosophically correct. He talked about how illegal aliens come over here living off our Welfare, but this guy is living off OUR taxes by 'stealing' public land to graze his cattle. This statement sums it up:

He’s no hero. He’s a deadbeat. A moocher, flouting laws and bilking the taxpayer while law-abiding citizens pay their bills. If he were an inner-city beneficiary of social safety-net programs, he’d be a conservative narrative example of a “Welfare Queen.” It turns out their Great American cowboy is nothing more than a “Welfare Cowboy,” a “taker” who uses up precious public resources, flaunts violations of the law and makes money off it to boot.

I also liked his other ignorant statement -

Bundy continually tells the media the lands are the state of Nevada’s and, “I abide by all of Nevada state laws. But I don’t recognize the United States government as even existing.”

Then they post this picture -

So if he doesn't "recognize the United States Government as EVEN existing" WHAT'S HE DOING CARRYING THEIR FLAG?

Nice redirect but lets address the main point I was making which is when the politicians voiced their opposition to the heavy handed BLM tactics they weren't necessarily supporting his position and when he made his dumb statement they called him on it.
I also don't see where the politicians have said he shouldn't be paying grazing fees;

As far as being racist I dunno, There's several pictures of him with black friends that have surfaced (that are real unlike the picture of Bundy you posted with the fake Fox News logo added to it) and considering his remarks he made about illegals at the same time he doesn't seem to me to be someone who feels he's superior to someone else by virtue of their race.

So he gets the "Some of my best friends are Black" defense. Kind of like this moronic LA Clippers owner who is in hot water with the NBA now. Doesn't feel superior? Now that's a laugh. He apparently thinks he's superior over the Federal Govt., considering he's been stealing from them for several years now. He obviously thinks he's more superior over those that are less fortunate, specifically Blacks and illegals, or he wouldn't be making disparaging remarks about them in the first place. I haven't heard him say anything negative about the white trailer trash that lives on the same government dole as these other two class of people. If he had, you may have a case for your argument.
Say What? If they weren't supporting his cause, then why did they jump on his bandwagon to begin with? They vilified the BLM for their approach on this situation, when instead, they should've been supporting their efforts because this guy is breaking the law and stealing precious tax dollars they could be using to try an repeal Obamacare for the 51st time. To say they weren't supporting him is ridiculous.

How many precious tax dollars did he actually steal? You mean all of that grass growing on the land that his family managed for decades?
The liberal spin in practically every situation when it comes to white, republican folks seems to be to brand them all as racists. In fact that word has been thrown around so much since Obama came into office that I feel virtually desensitized to it. I think the people who continue to spread that type of dog food around are the real racists and pseudo terrorists in this country.

The estimate is about $1MM that he owes in lease payments.  I'm not sure why the bill wasn't just sent to the IRS to collect.
Would have been cheaper on the taxpayers that way and wouldn't have created a sensationalized story for the media to follow rather than report real news.

For that we might have to ask Democratic senator, Harry Ried. My understanding is that Harry Ried is heavily invested in the development of solar energy projects around the state and that this particular area of land is expected to see near by development. Essentially, the same area that harbors turtles that the ranchers cattle are supposedly endangering.

So in light of your opinion on Bundy we can assume you also consider the person who said "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy" and the one who said "Obama, as a black candidate, could be successful thanks, in part, to his "light-skinned" appearance and speaking patterns "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one." are also racists?

The politicians were opposing the BLM over the top response to a debt collection act. Complete fiasco but given 0bama's track record it wasn't surprising that those under his control are incompetent as well.

The 0bamabot will point out the solar development is miles from there ignoring the fact that typically when there is a question about large scale development like this it is common to point to other areas in the vicinity that have been opened up as open space to make up for the developed area.

A better question would be why is the Son of the Senate Majority leader allowed to lobby for federal contracts? No appearance of conflict of interest there LOL!

Because the senator and his family are getting ridiculously rich off of the development. Using tax payers resources to further his own gain and practically starting another ,Waco. Tisk, tisk democrats. I thought leaders were supposed to be the responsible one's by leading through example? I guess Ried, is simply giving us a nice display of democratic hypocrisy in regards to greedy politicians just out to pad their pocket books.
Gotta make that money.

Try a couple MILLION. If someone were to do that on their income tax audit, they'd be spending 10 years in the Federal pen. That 'land' wasn't his to begin with. Living out in the sticks of Nevada, no one even knew there was public land out there in the first place. He knew it, and simply took advantage of the situation.

You hit the nail on the head. Race has always been under everyone's breath since Eisenhower. All of a sudden, a Black man becomes President, and racial tensions have become the highest since the 50's and MLK. Are you honestly that blinded by your disbelief that bigotry and racism still doesn't occur in this country? Go to Alabama and Mississippi and ask some of those 'boys' what they think of Obama. Look up the demographic of who supports the Republican and Tea Parties, I guarantee you the majority race isn't Black or Hispanic. You have idiots like Rand Paul who now say that the Republicans "need to embrace the minorities and women to solidify our position in the upcoming elections." If they weren't closet racist and bigots, they shouldn't have to worry about embracing them. They should've been accepted from the onset. I suppose you also think this owner of the LA Clippers isn't racist. He's just "misunderstood", and his supposed comments were taken out of context.
