i know he is. he is a lab mixed with a Newfoundland. he has the body of a lab and is the nicest large dog i have ever seen. but he has the hair and the brains of a Newfoundland.

they are just not as smart as labs. and it probably doesn't help he spent a year in the humane society before i adopted him.

Not to be a jerk, but you should say, "This is my sister and me." or "This is me and my sister."
The easy way to check if you are unsure is to simply take the other person's name out of the sentence.
So...
Taking out 'my sister' you would get "This is I at the fair a few weeks ago."
However, if you take out 'my sister' in the sentence, "This is my sister and me," you will get, "This is me at the fair a few weeks ago." Which is obviously correct.
Just a grammar lesson, not a

I could be, it wouldn't be the first time. Feel free to prove me wrong though, but this is how I've learned.
Technically speaking, "My sister and I at the fair a few weeks ago" is not a grammatically proper sentence, so the rules do not really apply. If it said "My sister and I WERE at the fair a few weeks ago", that would be grammatically correct. Since there was no verb, it was not a proper sentence.
It's been 17 years since I've taken Grammar or English in school, but I was an AP student and started college with all my English requirements already fulfilled.

So...
Since it is a sentence fragment, the rules go out the window?
Okay, I'll buy that lol.
