i wasn't hating anyone. that's great that you have 15 plus years in the business of saltwater.
just because you have a lion and a sheep in the same cage for a week, doesn't mean the lion is not going to eat him eventually.

Yes. Keep up the pix. I'd love to see them. I've only seen octopus for sale in small special tanks at an LFS in Lancaster, Pa. Would like to know more about them.

i dont think people r bashing u at all. most people on here r very passionate, and really care about saltwater livestocks. i just feel we as hobbyists, hv a responsibility to gv livestocks we purchase the best chance to live. keep us updated though, maybe ur octopus wont eat the poor seahorse, since it's the only friend he's got.

you should post some pics up on *****, I'm sure we could give you a good ID. And just for everyones info, the octo is fine with the seahorse, actually, quite a few people have been very successful keeping octos with horses and I have never heard of a seahorse eaten by an octo. My favorite octo tank actually has 2 (i believe) blue ribbon eels, a snowflake eel, several horses, and, of course, an octo.
Out of respect for SWF.com please do not advertise for another board!

Is this your only tank, or do you have more? I was shocked that you have been in the hobby this long and haven't invested in an ro/di. You must have some pretty good tap water.

I tried to put a little sweater on my cat once....he hit the ceiling and freaked out...Believe me I had it off him within seconds.

I'm no hobby expert or anything ... but that tank looks a little small ... won't the octopus outgrow that tank really fast?
