First order from saltwaterfish.com DOA

Finally made my first online livestock order sat took advantage of the 29 dollar Naso Tang and being in FL the shipping is cheap and I felt it had a better chance of survival than coming from CA. Well it shipped last night from Port St Lucie at 5:30 and was at my door today at 1247. Upon opening found it to have an ice pack and rather cold water (it was 83 here to day only a few degrees more than my tank" and a dead tang. Immediately called customer support and they of course told me till fill out there online form. I have now done this and receive an email saying to allow them a couple days to process and so far the only options are store credit or refund I don't particularly want either of those cause it doesn't appear that they refund shipping, "I didn't pay 19 dollars for nothing." Seems like they should be able to immediately ship another fish in the case of a DOA. we will see what the outcome is but so far not thrilled with my first internet fish order.

I have ordered from here a couple of times, and I did have one DOA. I followed their procedures and was very satisfied with the outcome. I can not remember if they reshipped for free or not (it was a bit ago). But I do remember being happy. I hope things work out for you. Either way it inspired you to join the forums. Welcome!! I hope you decide to stay around for a while.
What kind of system do you have?

Yeah I just hope its kinda quick this is why I rarely shop online cause I have this I give you money I want product now thing so hopefully it is resolved quickly.

I know this is they're site but... . If you recive somthing dead (Which you won't) they would automatically send you a new fish without paying for shipping again.
Please do NOT post competitor sites on here

well I posted my claim wed afternoon it is now fri after noon and not even a change in the status of the claim. But I see they are active on here moderating the forum.

I understand mods do not work for the company and I am sorry about that im just a little frustrated right now doesn't seam a claim should take long when its a DOA with no delay in shipping or anything. Raising a question has anyone ever requested next day ground seams like for me it might cut down on the trip seeing as i have a sort facility fairly close vs next day air involved it going from Port St Lucie to Memphis to Mobile To Pensacola. I know my LFS requests next day ground from the vendor they use in FL and have better luck.

Well guess I will have to give them a few extra days due to Isaac and all but still would like some confirmation they were working it. Made a call Friday and left a message seams they never answer but no return call yet.
