Oh I know, I was just warning you for future reference that they're not a great store to deal with. If you ever venture into Manhattan, check out Manhattan Aquariums. their coral selection is AMAZING.
I live out east, so I know more of the stores in Suffolk County than anywhere else, and there are so many good ones out here that I never have to go anywhere else.

Hi,
All coral requires you to check certain water parameters, temperature needs, tank placement, water flow and food type. So do research on anything you want, and decide if it will live in your tank. LPS corals are pretty easy to keep but if you have nitrates that stay in the 20-40 range they won't last long. 5-10 they will be fine. Soft corals can survive the 20-40 range easier than a LPS. SPS can be kept if your nitrates at 0-5.
If your tank is kept in the warmer range cup coral can’t survive, it likes cooler water temps. So by knowing your tank, you can decide what corals to purchase. This is why water tests are so important, so you will know exactly what you are dealing with and what to stock…I know when my tank is out of whack because my corals look very unhappy.
I know folks who can keep SPS but can't keep Xenia the weed of coral alive. It all depends on your tank water quality.

IMO most LPS and softies are easy/moderate. As long as you provide them with stable, good water parameters and proper lighting, you should be fine.

I went to fish town today to get Bicolor Blenny, Golden Tiger Blenny OR diamond blenny. They didn't have it!
So I came up to one of the sales man and said, I want to buy
Acanthurus sohal "Sohal Tang" (not that I would buy, I just wanted to know how honest they are)
I ask the sales man.
- i said: I want to get that Acanthurus sohal "Sohal Tang, whats the minimum size for this tang?
sales man: What size is your tank?

- i said: Just tell me the minimum tank size
sales man
: You should remember one important fact!
no matter what, the tang
will never out grow your tank
, if he is 3 inches
now, and your tank is 75 gallons he will GET maximum 5 to 6 inches big, no more.
because the tank
is small for tang
to grow bigger.
what do you think?
I somewhat (in a twisted way agree with their statement), and this is why: The fish gets stressed in the environment if it is too small, thus causing its untimely demise. It says on the smaller size because it is never given the opportunity to thrive.

is it ok if I get LPS or Softies corals for my tank?
Also, is there a limit on how many lps or soft corals I can have in my tank?
I am not asking how many corals I can put at once...
I am asking how many corals I can put over all....

LOL...As many as will fit. Give each coral room to grow, they shouldn't tuch, they sting each other..run carbon so toxins won't be a problem..corals fight by Chemical warfare they send toxins into the water.
