If I could think of a funny joke I tell it right now so you'd smile really big.... just cause I would want to make ya feel better, of course.

There ain't no scab(s) yet. Inside is all white, and I have been keeping some kind of sauve they gave me on the outside. But yes, I have seen enough on here tonight to keep the smile stretched out, so no busting stitches here.

No, ever since the change over, I have been totally screw.ed.....
I figured it out once going thru mozilla firefox or something, but now I just say the heck with it. I know they are working on changing everything so I don't even feel like trying to figure out how to do it.

Try having a spinal tap done on you and you feeling everything the doctor does. Yep, not once, not twice, but three times. My wife got stuck 3 times by 3 diffeent doctors with no results within 10 minutes. And she felt each time the needle went in between her vertbrae.

I knew that was coming.....A woman was going to come in here and trump me with some child birthing/period/hot flash/change of life story.
Just kidding. With all due respect, if men had to go thru child birth, there would be a lot less babies in this world. I have witnessed it 3 times with my sons, and I have the utmost respect for my wife for that endurance (two with an epidural, and one without....)

if you've ever had your man card revoked in the past, everything about this thread says you earned it back. Well done!

your smart....you knew it was coming!
One natural??? OMG!
at what point did she realize she made a mistake. My first child I thought about it and the last second when the Dr. said "This IS your last chace", I took it. Almost 9lb kid. Thank goodness for my "quick' thinking

My 2nd child turn on his side and it became a different story. Epidural worked........sort of.....after 36 hours. I said things I thought I would never in a million years say.

LOL....My 3rd was 5 weeks early and had not turned, so we had to do a c-section
The epidural wore off in the middle of it
THAT was the worst
experience of my life.....I swear it felt like I was being cut in half with a freakin dull knife.....

I know two people who wanted to go the natural way and screamed for the epidural during delivery but it was too late.

She didn't go "natural" on the last by choice. With the first two, there was plenty of warning. We actually went to the hospital prematurely on the first one and had to be sent back home. But with the third one, it was WAM BAM....by the time we got to the hospital, they said it was way too late for an epidural. Let's just say....I forgave her for all the things she said about me.

Well this thread has certainly taken a turn...................
Let me just add, I am SO glad my wife had two planned C-sections.

Well, we are still talking stitches, just in different places....:)

I took out all of the stitches on the outside my lip myself (saved the $20 co-pay and the hassle of going in).
The stitches on the inside...she told me they would disolve. They don't seem to have changed at all. Anyone know how long it takes for those to "disolve"?
