Yellow tang ahs been in trap 2 more times sine I posted last...and I have chased it away 5 other times

I have the hook ready...I have not baited it yet....I'm kinda scared.....I know it will be difficult to keep the other fish away...
I have to think about this for a little bit

Morning!Does he come to the top for feeding? Maybe just be ready with a large net. Might took 2 people to accomplish. Since fishkeeping I try to get all my fish to get used to that in case they need removed in the future
Even scooped one up in my hand at one point (an aggressive clown) Keep fishing Meowzer-maybe a video???? LOL

I you pm me your email I can give you a video of catching a fish in your aquarium. I watched it and built my own. Its alot like the one in your first post but the door is vertical. I caught my damsel in three days. It does require some DIY skills. Acrylic, power saw, acrylic glue, and fishing line. The good thing is you release the door on the fish you want to catch. The bad thing is you release the door.

what's wrong with he door? Is it like super-spring powered so it sends a shockwave through the water and could possibly kill the fish in it? Or it just becomes super loose?

LOL...I decided I didn't want to be frustrated in the evenings after work...plus I had such a short time, that I am waiting till I am off tomorrow to begin again.
I bought some stuff to try to divide the tank, but I have to modify it OF COURSE..LOL
HOPEFULLY...this weekend will do it

Are you serious?
Get a piece of egg crate cut it to fit into your tank from front to back. Move some of the rock on the right so when you chase the fish to right you can put the egg crate down and trap it in that area if need be remove the few pieces of rock on the right and net the fish

What do you mean am I serious????
I have something I am going to divide the tank with...I am going to block the left side...I just have not had time to do that yet...I was also thinking of covering the rocks on the right with some netting I have cause (can't see it in pic) in the rocks is a large BTA, and also attached to other rocks are some miscellaneous corals...and I do not want to kill them

Looking at your tank it should not be as hard a task of getting the fish out as you seem to be having

I was going to say divide it too. That front corner is pretty bare, cut a piece of plexi glass or egg crate to fit that corner, put it in leaving the bottom open, and chase the darn fish in there and push it down. (TRAPPED)
