if i just add base rock will it cycle?

do you mean cycle nad become live rock? or like cycle and make a spike?

If you add base rock that has been dry for awhile it shouldn't cycle anymore. Lots of people by base rock with a little bit of Live rock to save on money. The base rock will eventually become live rock. Oh and the tank looks great!

Nice tank! Beautiful fish, but he may give you headaches down the road when you add new fish, psuedos can be pretty nasty to newcomers.
