Looking good! What fish are you planning on adding?
Thanks, for the reply.
Man does nobody get my jokes? I am planning on all of the fish I have in my current system. I went to a local reefers house yesterday, he is selling everything, and I took a look at what he has and... Wow. He has very nice tanks with a lot of live rock and Utah rock which I like. He also has some fish, corals, maco algae I am interested in.
The current stock list (84)
1-Powder Brown tang 4-5"
1- Yellow tang 4-5"
1- firefish 2-3"
1- baby yellow watchmen goby 1"
1- pygmy angle (female) 2"
3- blue green chormis
Fish I am interested in that he has:
Cardinals (baggiie, pj) probaly has 5-6 al together
damsels (yes I know but these guys are beatiful and don't fight)
bicolor blenny
then the other stuff. I just need money....
But $2.50 a lb for live rock and 50cents a lb for utah rock is a great deel so fingures crossed.

Do not use the one I have? What makes the box so much better? The way I was going to do it (don't know about it know, need some more ideals) that the overflows (the ones I currently have, Need to use them so I didn't just waste $30) were going to be below the suface were they wouldn't get air and the pipes would just have water in them. The end of the pipe would end up in the water so their would be no noise of water. Make sense??
sorry i took so long to reply.
but even if they are below water level it will create a whirlpool effect and still slurp air and water at the same time. also if even a lil bit of debris get on the strainer it will cause reduced flow and build up water. then eventually drain real fast and cause a sound thats 2x as bad as a toilet going flushing....sucks

It would do a whirlpool effect but it doesn't mean that it will slurp air and water at the same time. If you have the box around it the debris would just go through the slits and make it more differcult to wipe it off. It won't be a problem just to clean the debris off.
Updates:
New things:
Rock with GSP, sponges, feather dustes and emerald crab for 20$ 10 for the rock 10 for the crab. Yet the crab jumped off onto the rock that is going into my dads tank.
A nice tower rock cover in claurpa with xenia on it for $20.
70lbs of utah rock for $35. And some coral that droped off the rock of the rock. Then the huge pink polyp rock that my dad got for his tank, along with the emerald crab. Tomorrow going to get 60-70lbs of sand and bicolor blenny. 15 for sand 10 for blenny.
I know it would be to many but he has three yellow tangs and I thought they might school if I bought them. But sense I don't $75 I can't get them, plus I wouldn't want to not reconiges my current one.
Thanks, any comments would be greatly appercieated,

lol trust me it will make noise and the flow will be varied. there's even an article in the aquarium fish mag for either last or this month talking about different overflows

But how will the box make that big of a difference in the noise?

Well, things are going slow. I need about $120 to get the rest of the supplies and get the tank drilled. Thinking of how to do the aquascape; any ideas?
