pic from yesterday after I put the sand and the rock salt in. I haven't quite figured out what that aquarium underneath the tank is for.

oh, it's already got fish in it, but they're sleeping. I'll get an updated pic later. Got to find my camera first :)

I see you have a level over there, way to be cautious and safe keeping your tank level, wouldn't want anything bad to happen to it!

seriously, when you invest this much in something, you want to make sure that you got it all level so it doesn't leak.
I think that grinding sound is coming from underneath the tank too. Some sort of pump or something down there? Do I need to put some water in that aquarium underneath the tank too?

u can put some water down there, just use freshwater though, that water doesnt go back up to your tank, but hey, u can always put some goldfish in it an that way you can maybe breed them, so dont have to buy them all the time

they sleep for long periods of time, but mainly when the lights on, when the lights are off and your not near them, they're swimmin all over the tank

Just fill the tank up the rest of the way and the tanks below the big tank will fill up. They are used for storing fish. That way when fish die in the big tank they can quickly be replaced by taking one out of the tanks at the bottom and throwing them into the top tank. Don't worry about the water being cloudy, fish can't see that well anyways.

Awesome! I'm glad someone else thinks that I should add more fish, I just don't think that's enough. Maybe I should wait until these pull through?
Naa, I'll go to the store and buy that neat stingray... clearance too! How do you guys feel about horseshoe crabs and cuddlefish. They both look soo cooool
