I have a pain pill...I mushed it in some food and got her to take it.....she is just sleeping now
She should be a lot better come Sunday. I know when we took our girls in I gave them each a pill that night and then the following morning. By the next evening they were getting around pretty good and by the following day were acting like nothing had happened. They're still just as frisky. Did you get her chipped?

Lucy is feeling much better and back to herself...well before I took her to the clinic that is.....she still has a little more social skills to learn.....BUT she is a very good dog

p.s......Rosie is always by her

Pudgy LOL.....that's funny.......I think someone I know is interested in Lucy......I know she would have a good home......but they will be away for another week
SOOO I told them I will be more then happy to keep her ;) BUT......I also feel good knowing I will know where she is and who has her
ok...a little sad too :(

No kidding! That is a win for you and Lucy. You could make the transition with visits first with the new family, and you'd know what happened to the little hotdog.
Hope that option works out.

YES...it would be perfect......and I am pretty confident it will happen.......
I'm not sure I could do this again....after 8 days.....I am really liking her......YES...it's easy to get attached...too easy when the dog is as sweet as Lucy too
In the past, I have told them at the rescue I would help with food and money....but not the animals.....I think I may have to really stick to that....

Understandable. However, if it works out with the family, then you got off the hook so to speak in the best way possible. Lucy will get a good home, and you will know that she'll be doing well.

YUP....and I can say I aided in saving 2 lives......there was a male maltese that was tossed out this week......there was NOWHERE for it......I talked to a lot of people I know....even begged for someone to at least foster it.....ans a friend is taking him tomorrow
so I feel a little good this week ....except there are sooooo many more......sine them 4 more dogs have been dropped off in various places.....this county really sucks about that.....all the foster homes are full..
A woman I know who foster dogs went out today, only to come home and fine 2 lab mix pups dumped in her yard
she already has 4 fosters....IDK what's going to happen to them yet

Beth....the person was mixed, she works all day and goes away a lot...wasn't sure if an indoor dog would fit their schedules....and it would be alone in the house..and I kinda said we were attached.....LOL....and Lucy had friends ;)
She would have taken her if I pushed it.....BUT I think Lucy ended up where she belonged
