did you know that Evian spelled backwards is Nai've?
sorta makes you wonder why they are so expensive... is it just a joke?

also for those who missed out, i dont think you really missed out on much at all. i think this tds meter is just for those freaks who like testing the water they drink. i tested my ro/di water that reads 0ppm on my inline tds meter and this new tds meter reads at 3ppm. ro water that i make which ranges from 10-22ppm would vary from 18-23ppm on the new tds meter.

I dont think they actually planned on this type of mass order for them ans since it has been the talk of MANY MANY of the different forums you could imagine the order totals for them. LOL they probably did think of the aquarium hobby odering them either LOL
maybe next time something like this comes up the company will think ahead

So did you guys go through the whole checkout process and after completing it, did a receipt page show the order was purchased? And did you receive the first email confirming your purchase? It seems very strange that you could get that far and then they just cancel the order. Did they tell you that they oversold? I'm really sorry you guys didn't get one. Mine says it was shipped last Friday, so we'll see. How long did it take to get yours NigerBang?

In 1992 The Hoover UK company wanted to clear out some old washers and vacuum cleaners. They offered two plane tickets for buying 100 pounds(currency) of their products. People figured out the tickets were cheaper than the products. The factories worked overtime to keep up with the demand and the newspapers were deluged with ads selling new vacuum cleaners.
It ended up costing the company so much bad press and 50 million pounds that corporate sold the UK division to an Italian company.
Google "Hoover fiasco" if you want to verify it.
