LMAO. Washington has 1 national championship. you haven't had a winning season in what, a decade? you play in the 4th or 5th best conference in the country and still can't manage a winning season. It is very likely that Washington would be 0 for the decade if they actually played in the SEC.
There's fans of plenty schools that could talk legitimate smack to a Carolina fan. But a Washington Husky fan ain't one of them.
Could be argued UW has 4 National Championships, the ones in 1960 and 1991 are for sure, but they also won the National Championship in certain polls in 1985 and 1990...They have won 7 Rose Bowls and 1 Orange Bowl, has S. Carolina ever even played in a major Bowl? Let alone won one? and no, the Outback Bowl is not a major bowl game.
Yes there are several different sites that rate recruiting classes, I'm sure you can find any # of different results, but the 2 best are Scouts Inc., and the one ESPN has, this comes from one of my staff members that works for the Forbes Report (that would be your boy Lou Holtz's scouting company FYI). They both have UW ahead of S. Carolina this year.
Yes, UW has had a rough decade, but won the Rose Bowl in 01 and finished 3rd in the country that year after winning the Pac 10....I suspect S. Carolina has never finished that high ever.
Please don't compare your little hick school to the UW over time, it's embarrassing to everyone. I love Colin Cowherd's statement "Stever Spurrier, the worst head coach in the history of the NFL"
As to your ridiculous statement that the Pac 10 is the 4th or 5th best conference...Get out of your little shell there in Spartenberg and look around the country a little. These are rankings from Scouts Inc (but you can use any site you want they will all say the same thing), the SEC has the best talent in the country every year, the Pac 10 is second......EVERY YEAR.
