anywho, we're excited about the monster puffer, and you are obligated to show pics of full tank set up with the creature!

Once the tank is in my house i will take alot of pics. I have already posted tons of pics on my current 255 on this forum.
I am buying a black spotted dog face today, and my best friend got my a huge yellow belly dog face on sat. He is holding him in his 500 gal untill mine is done. I think i might have just all huge puffers in my new tank. I want to get 1 of each kind.

that could be kinda cool but some of the puffers are a bit more agressive at feeding time than others so the more docile of the species could end up starving due to compitition

I was at my friends house tonight that is holding my new yellow belly puffer. He is a monster. Very big indeed.
Here are some pics of him. My buddy also has a yellow belly, a black dog face, a pretty big porcupine, and some other nice fish. He is getting a reaf made right now, so this is not his final tank. His size is 80in L X 20in wide X 60in High. Very tall and big tank. I think it is 500 gallon.

I also bought a new 24 gal nano tank. It is the 2006 model. Will fill it up tommorow and get it running. I am just going to use it as back up if i need to take a fish out, or buy a new fish and keep him in there for a few days. Maybe I will get a reef later on, not sure yet. I am going to pick up my black spotted puffer tommorow. Cant wait untill the big 900 gallon comes home.
I also so a panther grouper today, that was as big as my giant puffer. He was only $25, so i said SOLD.

justforfun,
What does your friend plan to do with the the fish, when they outgrow his tank...looks like 99% of the fish in there will do so.

His tank is 500 gallons. That is pretty big. Maybe only his puffers would get very large, but that is years from now. If so i got a 1000 gallon ready for them. There uncle will gladly take them.

Yeah, but you say the tank is only 20" deep. I see Triggers, Tangs, Puffers...a Unicorn Tang! All of those fish will outgrow that current tank. The only fish that I see in the pics, that wont outgrow the tank, is maybe the Harlequin Tusk.

None of those fish will outgrow a 500 gallon tank. 20inches deep is plenty. I have a porc puffer in my 125 that I intend to house for life and there won't be a problem with that. Even a pinnatus batfish would have ample room to roam in a 500 gal tank.

I feel sorry for that Porc...it's gonna be a short life, in a 125gal.
