yeah...i have no money for RO/DI and due to the fact that i cant drive yet, my parents cant readily take me to buy some RO water. i also feed exactly what my clownfish eats and a little for the serpent star.
if this is any help...on the back of my tank...i noticed that more algae grows below the center brace where there is more shade from my MH. does this help at all? so there is like a strip of algae or diatoms along the back wall...and then a little bit on every other side of my tank.

Is it growing where their is LESS flow?

kinda the opposite...both my koralias are directed to the sand where almost all of it is and it still wont go away...i might have to bring the powerheads closer to the sand to blow it away more...without and sandstorm
