Glassy Sea Squirt?

It kinda looks like a glassy sea squirt, but it's not an exact match. You can see the round opening, only one opening on each that I can see. Am I right on the id, or is this something that needs to come out.
Thanks

I've read they are beneficial to the tank, but I'm finding a pretty large population in crevices. Should I be looking for something to control them, and if so, what eats them? I haven't been able to find anything on this yet.

They are filter feeders that will come and go as the nutrients allow......don't worry about them

I wouldn't worry about them taking over. They don't compete with algae very well so they stay mostly in the shade or dark areas of the tank.
