Thanks meowzer - he is eating = coming out quite a bit - a little tear in his tail, I didn't notice that at the LFS - a little SELCON in his food - so far he looks pretty good - he always has his mouth open, I noticed that on other pictures on the net.

A Really beautiful fish Al, it is totally going to be a great addition and bring color to the tank. Good luck with it, I hope everything works out well with it in the DT. Maybe sure you keep us updated with pictures. What kind of Wrasse is that?

Close - but I think this fish was pretty cheap compared to what others have spent on fish.

Beautiful fish Al, That's why I was looking at the wrasses too. How big is it? I contacted SWF and they said they would have the velvet red wrasse (male) in a couple of weeks...that's the fish I want, that or the multi colored. I must admit I have never seen a wrasse like that at any LFS around me. Oh and cover that top, I lost an $80.00 tile fish after one day..fish with that body type are jumpers and commit sushi all the time.
Good for you for having the patients, and good habit of using a quarantine tank. You're doing everything right.
