listen wrasses don't usually strive in aquariums I've had a particularly bad experience with my 2 cleaner wrasses which died 2 weeks after i got them

Yeah, Cleaner Wrasses are one of those fish I'd rather be excluded from the hobby. There are many Wrasses that thrive in a captive environment, sadly Cleaners are not one of them. You really should have a very large aquarium with a lot of big (non-Tang) fish so they can feed appropriately.

Very sorry for your loss. It is a lottery to see which fish can handle the stress of capture. There's no way to predict whish ones can't handle the journey from ocean to store.

Very sorry for your loss. It is a lottery to see which fish can handle the stress of capture. There's no way to predict whish ones can't handle the journey from ocean to store.

Hey thanks everyone, means a lot to me. I still have many dreams of getting another wrasse and some anthias - goning to have to wait a bit though. Tank really needs some new corals, I am happy that the five fish I do have are really healthy and the new system is working great.
