Ok I will never sell anything or trade again unless its local.
So this guy bought that acan I had for sale.
I bagged it up good. gave it plenty of water to be submersed. I shipped overnight and got there next day at 9:40am
Now he is trying to say it looks dead and a skeleton. I told him I wanted a pic but WTF...an acan of all things are as hardy as they come. I have had them shipped to me in the summer before with ZERO water and they where just fine.
Even if this ends up not being dead and it is fine..I will never ship anything again in my life..sorry for anyone who wanted to trade with me

he said he is taking one
The moron floated the bag and dripped it..that is the WORST thing ever to do with someting you get from shipping..let it sit in that NASTY water and being warmer water. I knew I should have put if you drip I will not refund at all.

this is ridiculous. How in the world can this with an acan. the bag never leaked..it had plenty of water and wasnt in shipping for even 24hrs
what it looked like when i bagged it

and now what he did to it by the stupid drip acclimation.

I still dont see how it happened. there was enough water in the bag to have it submerged. nothing leaked. It was in transit for only 18hrs or so..it was only 70 today and is 50's at night..so not like it was to hot...I had that acan for almost a year

Do you seriously blame the drip acclimation for killing it?
What time did he report it as dead and then what time did he send the pic?

he reported it now and just sent the pic now.
Drip is the worst thing to do to an animal thats been in its own water for 18hrs. nice way to torture it..I shoulda put up what i forgot to do if they drip and not just put it in the tank I will not refund. I am not the only one who feels this way...many other people I know who sell ALOT have that disclaimer on their stuff

I wouldn't bet a dime the drip killed it.
Did it arrive this morning or yesterday? The skeleton looks pretty darn clean already.
There's many other reasons why it could've died. Perhaps there was a temp. problem like it got too cold or even too hot. Maybe he had it sitting on his porch until he got off work. I could go on, but I'm just speculating since I don't have much info.

I dont think it would die either, i have had coral sit at my front door for 8 hrs in the cold before i could get to them and they were fine. especially if it got there by 10 the next day.
I would make sure that the pic he sent is not just a skeleton of another dead acan. He may have just taken a pic of another dead one and said it was the one you sent.
I would be very weary...

It got there this morning at 9:11am and I shipped it yesterday at 4pm..Its cause I have the worst luck in the world. others could ship 100 out and never have a problem but It always seems to bite me.

if you know its the same acan and you shipped over night i think you should give the money back.
most time 2 day or more shipping no money back but over night yes thats why we pay more for it.
but hey its up to you man.
ps next time just say no refunds no matter what.
