Henry- now your being just plain mean. :rotfl:
Kamiod - there are already articles written on lighting that will explain a lot about it already. I didn't go into a lot of detail in my lighting article, but you will find mention of this in it. Thank you for checking out the thread and welcome to the forums! I hope you enjoy your stay!

Is there anything that you all would like me to write on a specific subject of the hobby? I would love some suggestions. It will give me something to do for the next week.
how about nutrient export? I wouldn't mind seeing your thoughts on getting "it" out of the tank.
That's a pretty good one. Thanks!
I'm getting my laptop fixed sometime this week. Hopefully I will be able to sit down and write a little between naps.
I think I should also add to this thread that my daughter, Emma was born march 8th 2012. So, I'm a busy and happy daddy.

I would like to add a little to this request. I would love more info on a natural way to accomplish this. We can buy gear till we are blue in the face but IMO mother nature has it already figured out.
So if I can run a beefed up fuge vs. having to run a lot of different equipement (skimmer, reactor, whatever) then in my mind the natural way is a better way. Especially when it comes to the pocketbook.
I read one time where if you put a small damsel in an olympic sized swimming pool of saltwater, that it would still be overstocked. What we do in our tanks at home is pretty much a miracle of modern science and technology.
I'll write it as soon as I can get my netbook back!

Fish swim great distances in the ocean. Tangs swim miles.
Lol. Yeah, that's definitely not my expertise.
Im getting my netbook fixed by my computer tech uncle. Gotta get it to him Thursday.
By the way, Thursday is my birthday, march 17. St. Patrick's day. Woohoo!

I think someone needs to look at a calendar. Today is Tuesday the 13th. Saturday is the 17th.
