What was the happiest day for you concerning saltwaterfish?
For instance, mine was when I got my first salt aquarium. 34 gallon aquarium from a great LFS.....

I once had to leave on a business trip just before a batch of Clownfish were due to hatch. I placed the rock the eggs were on just under the water surface in my Rotifer tank hoping some might hatch. When I came back about a week later I found over 400 healthy Clownfish in the Rotifer tank.

I had always had freshwater fish and just dreamed of saltwater. I would go to the LFS and just look at the beautiful fish, that I was sure I could never have.
So the day a fellow told me it wasn't so hard, he explained what I could do to upgrade the 55g I had already, and offered me some live rock and some used lights...I had the money and went to the store for what else I needed...

LOL..he said I could get started for about $600.00..it actually costed around $1000.00 by the time I was done, and so my happy money pit adventure began.

My husbands answer: "The day we knew that nothing died from the 40G to 155G transfer."
Me: Buying my yasha/pistol pair :) I was so excited, like a little school girl, so pathetic.

For me was when I got my fuzzy dwarf lion to eat frozen food. After a month long struggle, I had almost given up hope and by some miracle, he took a bite out of some shrimp. That's got to be the happiest moment for me. After that he started eating everything.

My first time being extremely happy was finally getting Coraline algae to spread on rocks, back wall, and equipment.
Second was after having two Peacock Mantis dying and spending $200 in the process, finally getting one that has been alive for over a week

Edit: Today is the happiest day thus far, our mandarin FINALLY started eating frozen food!

It's been more than 6 months and he's just accepting frozen now. So to everyone that owns one and begs the little guy to eat frozen, there's hope. I've literally sat at the fish tank and begged him to eat (I'm a lunatic) and he finally did.
