I lived in Key West most of my life and went through every little storm and some big ones....never evac-ed. 75mph storm would be pretty mild and not much concern on my little hometown island.
Wishing all of you luck, and hoping that you won't exp. too big of a problem.

BOOO to the Eagles.
The wind is really picking up and the rain is coming down. I am prepared as I can be. All businesses in my area will be closed tomorrow. Looks like the area I am in is going to have sustained winds in excess of 50 MPH tomorrow. Who knows what the next two days will bring...

My store is closed, but I was already on vacation. Schools in the area are also closed. Governor Christie has declared a state of emergency and only wants essential personnel out and about tomorrow.

Schools are closed as well here for the next 2 days, state of emergency was declared Friday here....UPS will run regardless we ran the last time, but shall be very interesting to say the least this time.... High winds, down trees and big tractor trailers through city streets don't mix....

My sister lives on 50th and 3rd in Manhattan and she is off work today and tomorrow. Just talked to her about 10 minutes ago, so far said its more bark than bite, but it's just arriving. We'll see!

I have all 18 wheels rolling, and its bad getting tossed around like a rag doll!!!! Worse feeling in the world is your traction control going off as your going down the highway in a straight line. State restricted big rigs at 12:30 today and my great dispatch never relayed the info out to us.... Gotta make my way back to the terminal now!!!!!
