Update. Austin talked with John yesterday and he is fragging replacements for the ones that were lost. This will include the black widows as they don't look like they are going to make it. He will ship them only after they have healed up and are opening in his tank. The Mohawks he suggested placing them lower in the tank to see if they color up (doubt it) but if they do not he will replace them as well. Hopefully we can get past our initially trouble and move on.

I would strongly suggest to him that he frag those as well, so we don't have to pay shipping twice.

Agreed. I would think that we wil know if these are going to color up prior to this next round being shippped out.

So what have we declared dead? What is he resending? And if these frags also suck, what does he agree to do?

He is resending basically the entire shipment. We are not going to recieve shipment until after they have healed and are opening up in his tank. If that takes 2 weeks so be it. If these do not make it we are going to ask for a full refund and look at getting frags from somewhere else.

im happy to pay extra shipping or whatever you guys want no problem at my end... i know u guys really wanted x mens and im happy to give you guys a polyp each ;) although hopefully these ones will rock <grin.

hopefully the next set will actually be xmens and alive...

very nice of you slyfox! hopefully we dont have anymore problems, and the next batch arrives healthy....Mabye if the next batch arrives in good condition, we can each do a growout of one of our nice/rare zoas. Just cut off 1-2 polyps of it and grow it out. That way each person will get 17 diff. zoas, not 12

I don't have any rare zoas, unless you want some eagle eyes.

no thanks on the eagle eye, mabye we could all just throw in what we do have then. I have a few nice zoas that people may be interested in.

all the other zoas are from the 5 dollar city pets tank except for an orange colony I bought from BAA.

those are nice ones ruben! i was going to get one of their colonies, but didnt have enough extra cash at the time.
I have some superman and some really nice people eaters i would frag up. Actually, already have a frag of both that would be ready to do.
I think if everyone is in we could add our own into the growout. IF everyone is willing to do 1-2 zoas, it would give each of us alot more in the end.
Whats the news on the black widow and polar ice?
