That's fine. I only have about 55 Lbs. in my 55g. I plan on adding another 20 Lbs. though. But like I said it should be enough. Adding another 8 shouldn't hurt either.
it's about surface area more than weight if you have a ball rock that heavy but has no holes in it it's not as good as a light rock with tons of holes in it
k cool thanks ill follow that cuz i want more places for my fish to hide, and i want to get a mandiran hopefully soon, i hear they need plenty of rock.
It's not the actual rock that mandarins need...it's a large supply of copepods...I believe copepods need a lot of rock to stay alive (hide)....and multiply

Rocks aren't the must have here, what you need is a well established tank, probably at least 6 months or so old. Do you still have your wrasse? If so it will have a problem getting its pods as the wrasse will eat them as well.
