How much is your gasoline?

Its 3 bucks a gallon down here.
Four bucks is my limit, at that point Im switching to ethanol and the gas companies can kiss my wrasse. Its pretty easy to convert a gasoline engine to ethanol and a diesel to biodiesel/vegetable oil so have been considering a diesel also. The country of Brazil dosent even use gasoline. The bicycle has been getting some miles lately.

About $2.80 here. My honda civic is wonderful on gas. I only use about $20 a week. I am seriously looking into getting a hybrid though.

You're right Phixer..... Brazil also uses Alcohol and Propane as sources of fuel. Its a shame that we can't do the same. I don't believe the Big Sharks (Oil companies) would like people marketing the idea of using different sources of fuel.... so I guess ridding bicycles would be our best bet!! LOL

$2.95.
We should really campaign for one of those "No Gas for a Day" things. I remember reading on another forum that not buying gas for a day would crush the oil conglomerates. It was set for September 5th, 2005, but I don't think a lot of people heard about it.
Seems like a neat idea, though.

That would be a great idea.Imagine how much money the oil companies would lose if we just didnt get gas for that day.

According to the "Fortune 500 2006" 3 of the top 10 wealthiest companies in America are..... any guesses??? Petroleum Refining Companies..... Ohhhhh what a surprise huh?
Company Rank
Exxon Mobil #1
Chevron #4
ConocoPhillips #6
That is funny..... the excuse is that crude oil prices are getting to high..... well if that is really true shouldn't they be making less money instead of more?? This is simple math.... if you spend more money to buy a good your profit should decrease..... but I guess oil companies have a different way of using math.

no gas for a day is silly. if ya dont buy it that day you will just get it the next.
the concept is simple. the working man needs gas and even after all the complaining in the end we all bite the bullet and buy it anyhow. as long as that continues to happens the prices will NEVER go down. alternative fuel being used wide spread will happen some day but i doubt in our lifetime. it will happen in other countrys before here. unless you live in a very compact city like new york using a bike is not the best of choices.
i hate gas day but hey i'm the one that chose a giant truck. if i want to save the cash i could have purchased a kia or hybrid. we can complain about the problem all we want but in the end we are the cause of it. yes i know i know its the greed of "THE MAN" that makes the prices but its the consumers that drive it.
same stuff happens in coral world. acan lords are a great example. they sell for what people are willing to pay. As long as the price is paid it will continue to go up until the "people" decide enough is enough and come up with a LONG TERM solution.
Does that suck? Yep
Will I still fill up my 10 miles per gallon, v8, smog producing road eating truck? sure will
Does that make me an advocate of the problem? yep again
