Not to mention they have half the population, with only 1/3 of their families in that population owning a vehicle. So if what you say is true, it is much easier for them to supply an ethanol fuel to the masses than it would be here.
Ethanol, (from my understanding) is basically like grain alcohol......
how much does a bottle of vodka cost without the taxes on it?
Carry on..........
Cmon Darth... are you serious? Vodka :hilarious might as well compair Badger milk, and where did you get Brazil being oil free :notsure: , they dont use gasoline to power their vehicles but Im sure somewhere in the country of Brazil crude oil is used? probably as a crankcase lubricant for ethanol burning engines :hilarious and Vodka is not made with denatured alcohol either. Otherwise you would go blind from drinking it. :hilarious
The US has more farmland than Brazil and often supplies the rest of the world with many types of grain. If we wanted, the US could easily pump E85 or biodiesel instead of gasoline, remember ... Gasahol. Even hydrogen when stored in a hydride format is promising.
Once again Ethanol can be made by the average consumer in a garage, gasoline cannot, so the analogy does not apply, keep researching eventually you will dispell your own myths, answer your own questions and realize that gasoline is not the future. E85 or pure ethanol is not a cure all, IMO it just a cheaper and better alternative to gasoline for the time being. We have to look at alternatives.
Wonder what some of the peteroleum stocks are going for nowdays.
Carry on... :hilarious ... more like carry an extra large wallet if your going to continue to use gasoline, please dont thrash me with your light sabre.
