As for the second. I do not agree with being the police force of the planet. Hence, why I am not in the Military. I was referring to the fact that for each freedom there is a responsibility included.
Most fail to recognize the responsibility involved in each freedom and the need to balance the two.

Oh no my friend. The federalist papers is a catch all name for a volume of individual letters sent in by the writers of the constitution to the newspapers after the constitution was written. They outline explicitly the reasoning, debates back and forth, and the intended intent of the constitution. Its an amazing piece of work to read. Will literally change your views of how our government was intended to be. As well as how far deviated it is in its current form.

I will look them up. Sounds like a good read.
As for the police actions, I see absolutely no point in waging a war for another group. They need to fight that war for themselves or it would mean nothing to them.
I feel it would have been better to teach them how to fight and how to lead. Even if it took them ten years to do it themselves. In the meantime show the whole world the atrocities that are happening so that those leading lose all support. Collaspe the problem from within and teach them a better way.
Look at Russia. It is not the best but it will last and it will get better over time. I do not think it will be that way in Iraq.
